This hotel has nice and clean rooms, and a well appointed lobby, but my goodness the walls are thin! I could hear my neighbor blowing their nose at one point. I wasn’t woken up during the night at all, but beware if you have night owl neighbors.

Besides that, the staff at the front desk were very welcoming and friendly!

I recommend the hotel overall, but think about bringing ear plugs or a white noise machine to offset any potential noisy neighbors.

Just wanted to give RICK a HUGE shoutout. I received a noise complaint earlier tonight at my room - I sincerely apologize on the behalf of my party. RICK took the time to visit my room on a busy night during a special event with friends. He was extremely empathic and understanding of the situations that led to the complaint. I wanted to share my appreciation for RICK. He went way beyond what’s described in this review. Anything less than 5 STARS would be a dishonor to him. He deserves the shining light because of his professionalism and his ability to deescalate a hostile situation. THANK YOUUUU!!!!!!!!!!

Nice lobby, great front desk staff. I tried to adjust the thermostat in my room but it kept shutting off. Tried again before going to sleep, but could not get it to work properly. About 2:30 AM I was awakened because the room was stuffy and the person next store was snoring. HVAC was not working, and the walls were paper-thin. Could hear rooms on either side as if they were in my room.

The fan on my heater/AC should have masked some noise, but it was inoperable. And at that hour of the AM there is no way I'm going to phone for maintenance.

My wife and I were called to New Jersey from southern Florida to a family funeral last week. We had to make quick decisions as to where we would stay, car rental, etc. As we are Marriott Rewards members, we chose this place for our three-day stay, since we have always been pleased with Marriott accommodations. Our room was clean and comfortable, and I have no complaints about that, nor do I find fault with any of the staff there. The restaurant on the premises, however, is quite another matter. It is advertised as a full-service restaurant, which in my opinion is an over-statement, as the staff there was one person who took our order, prepared the meal, served it, and took our payment. The menu is very limited, and we chose the hamburger plate. When it was served, the meat tasted like it had been previously cooked, then frozen, then warmed and served. The quality of the beef was awful and what little taste it had tasted like it was mostly fat and gristle. Not only that, but it was barely warm around the edges and cold in the middle. We each had a draft beer. For this terrible meal, the bill was$11.00 for each hamburger and $5.75 for a glass of Bud Light for a grand total for the two of us of $35.72. Even though the food was awful, I still left a $5.00 tip, because quality is not the server's problem.

The room was spacious enough in the king size room. The staff from housekeeping, front desk and the bistro were all very nice and pleasant. After one of the snow storms, the engineers were on hand to clean off your car and/or help shovel you out from what the plow left behind. Bistro/cafe and store prices a bit high but it is a captive audience and convenience you are paying for. The place is located right off of exit 109 on Garden State Parkway so easy access north or south.
