Sometimes unexpected things happen during trips. I became ill during my recent trip to New Jersey. I felt terrible and had to miss important (and fun) work meetings and activities.
However, the staff at Piscataway Embassy Suites restored my faith in the kindness and caring of humanity! I was surprised at each kind step they took! It started with the driver of the shuttle taking me to a store I requested to go to for remedies when I could detect illness coming on. Then when it was inevitable and I needed to stay in my room, the general manager offerred to go to the store to purchase Covid tests (which were neg), and a thermometer for me! The staff just kept offering support in so many ways! They kept me supplied with hot water, honey, lemon, a remedy the general manager had recommended. They made sure I had things I needed (water, menus of local restaurants that delivered, and even snacks!) They checked in on me, and even wrote a wonderful note wishing me a quick recovery.
They were amazing, and kind, and went above and beyond in so many ways when I was feeling awful, and missing the team building work activities I had come for. Truly exceptional people. Embassy Suites is lucky to have them!
