I like to stay in different properties within the Hilton portfolio. Usually I try new locations I have not been to before. However, this time in need of a jetted tub with my leg and back pain, I reserved a whirlpool room here once more ( I had visited 2-1/2 years prior and provided a good review).
As always I checked in via the app the day before arrival. Tried to choose my room but was not given a choice until the day I got there. A digital key with the room number came while I was driving to North Brunswick.
Upon arrival I went right to my room and found it to be chilly. I tried to adjust the temperature via both the thermostat and on the HVAC unit itself by the window, but there did not appear to be any response to get some heat on a cold December day. Now I went to the front desk. The woman there was very accommodating, taking a walk to the room to try it herself. But it was to no avail as the system was not working. She re-accommodated me in another whirlpool room that was luckily available down the hall.
Other than that, my stay was great. Once in the 2nd room I was able to relax. The heat worked well, as did the WiFi and TV. Bed was comfortable and I got a good night of sleep. Ample space in the room and bathroom. Breakfast was good and hearty for someone who is not a breakfast person.
I continue to recommend this location if in the New Brunswick area, as it is convenient to US 1 and US 130.
