Nice inexpensive room . Front staff is wonderful and very helpful. The room was clean and met my needs. Would have been nice to have coffee in the lobby since there aren’t any cafes in walking distance. Appreciated the list of restaurants close by.

The cheapest hotel in New Brunswick. Hotel is small and remote, located in the Cook- Douglas campus at Rutgers University. So there is nothing around for at least a mile.
1 mile walk to downtown New Brunswick. But the room is clean and that is all that matters.
We are in a awesome unique location surrounded by nature, yet a few minutes away from all the excitement of New Brunswick. So happy you found our clean hotel up to your standards. Hope you'll consider visiting us again.
Overall, this is a very nice and convenient place to stay. It's clean and comfortable, which is all we needed. We enjoyed being close to downtown for food options and if the weather was nicer we could have taken walks from the hotel. They charge for coffee in the lobby, and there are no additional amenities, so if you want a late-night snack or beverage, bring it with you. Personally, a check out at 10am is too early. We were approved for 10:30 by the night staff but unfortunately this was not communicated to the day staff. The clerk called our room but clearly didn't believe us and then continued to have an attitude when we checked out at exactly 10:30, stating we were late. We do recommend the place, and would stay again, but hope for better overall customer service next time. Of note, the check-in staff was excellent.

Inexpensive Inn on the Rutgers New Brunswick campus. Renovated dormitory has 2 full size bed units and a few queen bed units. Everything rather basic, but the price, the location and the free parking at a good location on campus is a plus. Small television with basic channels, mini fridge and microwave in room. Wifi free, but limited bandwidth depending upon hour of use and others in hotel. Bucket of ice available upon request. Water pressure in shower just okay, but hot at least.
Pod coffee maker in room, plus Keurig maker in the lobby ($2/pod), but otherwise no breakfast. Little store connected to registration sells some drinks, amenities, snack and some frozen food. Hotel offers list of restaurants in area that make delivery, and you can always leave your car in the lot and take a car service.

We are relatively no frills. Our goal is to provide folks with a convenient, affordable place to rest. We hope we met your expectations.
Loved the Rutgers color theme for the décor in the guest room! As a Rutgers University graduate, it was fun to be back on campus for a conference and get to stay here. The staff were very helpful with recommendations and check-in was a breeze. Would definitely stay again!
