Here's a surprise, another tired outdated DoubleTree. I cannot understand for the life of me why this brand of hotels can't do any updating or maintaining to any property. The front desk worker didn't even look like he worked there, just randomly walking the lobby. I'm a Hilton Gold member didn't get waters or a cookie. Just a key card and one annoyed worker who seemed like I was a bother. Off to my room, super small, dirty carpets and a very disgusting bathroom. Toilet had water stains, floor had water stains, shower was falling apart and the horrible paint job. How these places justify the high price tag is beyond me. They cash-in off the Hilton name and offer zero of the quality. Wasn't the worst but for the price it's a not worth it.

1. The hotel was full and so no upgrades were available for even my DIAMOND member.
2. My room was carpeted and smelled of stale smoke and dirt.
3. Bathroom was too small with the vanity higher than the normal 30" and the toilet was lower than the standard and too close to the shower
4. Shower was mouldy and the water pressure was so low that I practically had to hug the wall to get any water on my body
5. The room wall thermostat did not work and had to adjust the temperature on the window unit
6. Air conditioner was not on when we entered the room and so the room was very warm and smelled of stale air (see # 2 above) as there was no air movement
7. Air conditioner was so noisy that I had to turn if off in the middle of the night
8. King mattress was so soft that I kept sliding whenerver I turned

Do not stay here. We checked in for a suite with young kids. We get to their room and it reeks of cigarette smoke. We go back downstairs and the front desk person tells us that there is nothing she can do. After further discussion we get a double bed room for $300 a night. We get up there and there are fake eyelashes and used contacts on the ground.
