My family of 4 (ages 11 and 8) stayed here for 1 night when traveling home from a Spring Break trip. I would not stay at this hotel more than 1 night just to sleep.
The room was small and a bit cramped. The mini-fridge and microwave just sit in the room next to the TV. We also had to unplug the TV to plug in the microwave. The towels weren’t the best quality. Thin and not very soft.
We let the kids use the small pool. It was fine, nothing great. There is also a big spot where you can see they removed a hot tub and didn’t really do much to make it a functional area for anything else. The towels were also small and thin - hard to get dry with.
The free breakfast was pretty limited. Not a ton of healthy options. I had an egg soufflé thing (egg whites, spinach, feta cheese) that was from a package. Not sure how it’s made or where they get it from, but it was the healthiest option they had. There was a waffle maker for the kids. One thing I observed was they only had strawberry cream cheese and there was a guest who asked about it because she is allergic to strawberries and they didn’t have any other options. Why wouldn’t the hotel just have plain if they are going to have only one option?
The staff wasn’t overly friendly, but we didn’t have any issues, and again we were only there one night.
This is one of those hotels that is only good for a “passing through” stop, but even then I would probably try a different hotel if we did a similar trip in the future.
