Beautiful 1890’s bed and breakfast with a lovely hot cooked to order breakfast on weekends. Walk to the beach, spacious and well appointed rooms on a quiet street. Esther, the host, is a wonderful and engaging and made sure we felt welcome. A++
It was like staying with family. The Welcoming Front Porch was such a relaxing place to enjoy a gourmet breakfast and even enjoy “Take our dinners” from the local restaurants. You don’t even need a car, walk to West End restaurants, beach, boardwalk and Monmouth University. Personal attention from Esther and Celi met all of our needs. Each room has its own “personality”. Can’t wait to return.

Beautiful, old Victorian house, completely renovated and updated. The owner was very friendly and eager to do whatever we needed to make our stay a fabulous experience. Her many years of experience in the hotel business shown through. Our needs as Shomrei Shabbos were anticipated and accommodated, from a place to light candles to a list of kosher restaurants to a place to store and warm our food. The room was quite nice, the beds were comfortable, the A/C temp was perfect. The staircase is stunning and so is the front porch. If you have never stayed in a B&B, you should know that your bed will not be made everyday. This is true in every B&B we have stayed in. If you decide to go here, you should know that rooms 1-6 are on the second floor and rooms 7-12 are on the third floor. If that was on the website, I missed it. Along with that, there is no bathroom on the main floor for guests, so that was a lot of stairs everyday. Lots of good exercise!!! If you are looking for a nice place to stay, look no further.
Thank you for the lovely review. One item which I am not sure what happened is that we do make up the rooms daily. However we do not have 24 hour maid service so, as noted in our welcome letter, the housekeepers work until 2:30 so if a "do not Disturb" is put out, they would not interrupt a room and then if removed after 2:30, it could be skipped that way.

My husband and I are B&B fans and Cedars & Beeches did not disappoint. Our room was spacious with beautiful french windows, gleaming hardwood floors and an extremely comfortable king size bed. It was very hot and humid at the time , but our room was very comfortable. Also, everything was spotless !! But perhaps my favorite thing , was the graciousness of it’s host, Esther Cohen . She gave us great recommendations for dining & the beach and engaged us in some fun & interesting conversation. Sally , who helped serve folks at breakfast time , was equally as pleasant. ( did I mention that the breakfast was delicious). We also borrowed beach chairs and towels and enjoyed the beach ( just 5 minutes away) 2 days in a row . Most importantly, given the COVID 19 crisis, we felt safe at this inn. Everything was very clean, all staff wore masks , there was hand sanitizer readily available and the morning seating was on the porch , outdoors a very acceptable distance away from others .

Myself and my family came to Long Branch to visit my mom and needed a place to stay. After many stays in the more generic hotels by the highway in Eatontown we decided to try something more homey. We are so glad we did! Cedars & Beeches is a beautiful home hosted by a warm and fun owner. Our room was comfortable and the breakfast delicious. Esther, the owner, is a gracious host and makes the breakfast herself! We will surely be going back.
