Went here for lunch with the team on a recommendation and had a great experience. I ordered a bean burger with onion rings which were both delicious. Friends had the salad which looked great and a burger with fries plus a milkshake - which I tasted and was amazing. Worth the visit.

Decent local burger place. I ordered the Urban Cowboy - BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, bacon and raw onions on a toasted roll - which was tasty & filling. I also ordered a milk shake which was a bit to thick to drink from a straw (spoons are available). The fries were so-so. The burger was $7.99, fries $2.49 and the shake $3.99. Service was good. There are so many burger places around now that it is hard to differentiate one from another. The location for Bovine though is good being in the "center of Jamesburgh" where the only other quick food place would be a pizzeria.

We were looking for a local establishment to get a hamburger. The ratings on this location were good so we gave it a try. The restaurant is located in the heart of Jamesburg. Parking is limited since it is part of a strip mall and the parking lot needs repair. So if anyone has a walker or other assisted device, it's difficult to get around. the handicap ramp, if you want to call it one, is located on the end of the sidewalk.

The restaurant has sit-down dining and take-out service. There are limited number of tables and one menu for the entire restaurant. All of the menu items are listed on the wall if you see across the room. The food quality is good but not great for a burger joint. The fries were very greasy.

It seemed they took them out of the hot oil fryer and dumped into a serving basket. The place is very clean but the waitstaff is very young and inexperienced in the food industry. The could not get the order right and gave the wrong food to the patrons. The more experience waitress came by to see if our food was good but everyone else was doing nothing to get the patrons served. There are free refills on the sodas but they don't tell you. You can go up to the machine and a small sign let's you know that it's okay.

Over all, it was a pleasant experience but nothing to write home about. The place has potential under the right management and guidance. If you go early, you can avoid the dinner rush.
