We went to Nagoya for Valentine's day and it was an interesting experience. As we walked in there were about 10 people waiting, some for food pickups and some for seating, with no hostess to be found. As I looked around the restaurant they looked very busy so I remained patient. Then the host(maybe the manager too?) came over and grabbed a party of four to go sit. I tried to tell her we had a reservation but I guess she didn't hear me. She then brought out food for one of the pickup people and said she would be with us in 2 minutes. No worries, until 10 minutes later she came over and asked us if we were eating in. I said yes and she brought us over to the table and gave us our menu. Okay they are busy no worries. However, we had brought a bottle of wine and it was about 20-25 minutes until she came over to take our orders, bring us glasses and water. We ordered the Sweetheart's roll and hibatchi which was timely and excellent. Seems like the restaurant is going through some growing pains so I would suggest to stay away during busy times when in a rush.
