Turning Point is around the corner and we love their brunches. The ingredientes are good quality, everything very fresh, the OJ is fresh squeezed, the omelettes are delicious. The only problem is that they have very long waiting times. Last time the wait was 1:45, and they do not take reservations! We went somewhere else where we had a very good brunch without the long wait!

My wife and I had breakfast recently at this Turning Point in a strip mall off NJ-35 in Holmdel, NJ. It has been one of our favorite places for years, having lived in the area for a number of years. Service is usually exceptionally good, as it was this time. The menu has a number of very healthy options and is reasonably priced. The coffee and teas are excellent. They have a nice basic two egg breakfast with a muffin or toast that is under $10. Seating is comfortable, plenty of parking, and a bookstore right next door. I usually have the classic eggs benedict, which is usually delicious. Their bacon and sausages are ususally tasty and nicely done. It's always a pleasant experience for us to revisit this place.

The food is good. The place is a fancy breakfast and lunch place. Fancier items than your typical diner. I had the french toast. My husband had the Tuscan omelette. Both were good. Silverware for three in our party's setting was dirty and they took them back and replaced them with apologizing. If you are looking for fancier than a diner this is a good place. Also comes with a little higher prices. I'll give you an example. I wanted hot tea. They don't just have plain hot tea. So I said orange flavor, well orange flavor was dulce. Then I thought about it and didn't want extra sugar so I changed it to earl grey, which was organic. Completely unnecessary in my opinion, as I rather go to diner.
