I'm adding a new review here as someone who goes to this hotel every few weeks. I they have noticed a few of the same things that others have noticed here in the reviews...but this issue is one that will only go downhill. Doubletree needs to get things in shape there ASAP..... If you're going to a Yankee game then this is the perfect location to stay at. However, if you're staying on the upper floor (15) there's a very distinct odor in some of the rooms. I know the smell to be of rodent droppings/leavings because my office building had the same smell before they renovated it. Doubletree tried covering up the smell in my room with some sort of perfume before I entered but after a few minutes, the smell was apparent and I needed a different room (12th floor)..the next room wasnt as bad but still smelled similiar... I'm actually a hilton honors member but in my experience if you smell rodents, you're going to eventually see them....... There is a Hyatt next door that I'm not a fan of (tiny, crappy bar and pay for parking last time I went) but I may have to consider that....
