I stayed at this property not once! This is my favorite stay away from home hotel! It does feel like home! Amenities are amazing! My grandchildren love the pool and sweet shop! I want to recognize outstanding service of Front Desk employee Kat! She made my stay more memorable! I will be definitely be back soon!
Absolutely great stay. Great rooms, professional desk staff and thankfully very quiet for a good night's sleep. Added bonus is the shopping mall across the street! If you've forgotten to pack something, this hotel is surrounded by shops, restaurants and convenience stores to get what you need. Don't buy breakfast food, though. This hotel even provides breakfast.
This is actually going to be a short review as I only stayed there 2 night. Overall it's a fine, nice, clean comfortable hotel. I was supposed to stay for 7 nights but only stayed two because I could not take the noise of the HVAC system in the room. When you turn the thermostat off, the vent system still runs. I asked if it can be turned off and the front desk said, sorry, no. It's in every room. That was definitely a let down because I liked everything else about the hotel including the people who worked there. It's just that the system sounds like an airplane engine and does not make for a relaxing stay. They said it was a filtering system they had installed due to COVID. I've never heard of this in any other hotel but ok. In all fairness I am noise sensitive so it just didn't make my stay there so comfortable. It's a great location and the breakfast is decent. It's your basic free hotel breakfast but at least it's there. I'm actually surprised more people have not written about this filtering system. Actually one person did and I should have listened to them.
The hotel feels new and updated. The location is great. I had no major issues, other than quality of sleep. It's a shame that the HVAC system is too loud and is not possible to turn off. The person at the front desk indicated that even with the thermostat turned off, the system continues to operate. It feels like sleeping in a plane, noise wise. Not what I expect when choosing a hotel. Maybe some people are not bothered by this, but to me having a clean and quiet room are the two most important criteria I look for in a hotel.
Newer property close to shops, restaurants and Menlo Park Mall. Target is steps away from hotel. Large rooms, clean, nicely furnished with kitchen area. Hot breakfast has good number of choices - eggs, potatoes, fresh fruit, pancakes, french toast and pastries. Plenty of seating available for breakfast and evening social. Quiet location tucked away from main roads. TV screen has welcome message when you arrive in room. I thought that was a nice touch. My only nit was Hilton app mentioned evening social was available Monday thru Thursday. However, it was available on Wednesdays only.
