The only good things about this place are the pillows and beds. That's the only reason for the 1 star.
Front desk refused to put the breakfast vouchers in our welcome bags for daughters wedding. Our guests requested them at check in (as we were told to tell our guests by the front desk) and were told there were no more available. What??? Groom was told the same thing the morning of the breakfast. I (mother of the bride) went to the front desk and asked. Was rudely told by the girl that she already told the groom she didn't have anymore. I asked her then if it was free since they couldn't "find" any. She went to her manager and returned with some cards. Do your job!!! Ok, now the wedding is over and I've been charged for 5 extra meals.
Same morning, BEFORE we checked out, our food was taken by housekeeping from our refrigerator. We went down for breakfast around 9:00 and returned at 10:00. Our room had been cleaned and food was gone. Food that I paid for. No excuse for this happening.
I also sent over a credit card authorization a week before arrival for the front desk to charge for my daughters room. When the card hadn't been charged the day before arrival I called the front desk. Girl told me it was taken care of. It was not. Daughter was surprised when her card was charged for the stay. Again, not a big deal but do your job and don't lie. No one needs the extra stress when you've got a wedding.
Bellman (for lack of a better word), was EXTREMELY rude to my husband. At check in we needed a luggage cart/rack. None were to be found. When the "houseman" (which is what i think his cart said) returned with one, he yelled at my husband to make sure he brought is back. Like we were going to keep it in our room.
Lest we forget the air conditioner cycling on and off with a loud thump every 5 minutes all night. God speed if you're a light sleeper.
And make sure you get a parking spot and don't move your car. The parking lot situation is a disaster.
For a Sheraton this is unacceptable. They need to get their front desk some training. They were all terrible. I don't know the name of the elderly gentleman running the breakfast but he was a great guy. They need more employees like him.
I did email the general manager of the property. She got back to me only after I emailed corporate. Agreed to refund me for the 5 extra people I was charged for breakfast and agreed to "return" the $70 for my missing food. Still waiting for that refund...general manager claims she "doesn't know how she can refund my card, needs to talk to accounting. You we're quick to charge the card, get me my refund, it's really not that hard. I won't hold my breath
