Nice hotel, great staff, and comfy beds.

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 2 Jun 2024via mobile
I would recommend and would stay here again. I really liked the common spaces, and room size and comfy bed. The staff, especially the front desk, are wonderful. My complements to Althee, at the front desk. She provided amazing service and had such a great attitude. The hotel was lovely, however my only complaint is there was left over food in the fridge and cabinet upon checkin. These things can happen at times and did not warrant a room change and wasn't the end of the world. Sad the Executive Lounge was closed (looks like permanently). I did appreciate the Diamond status upgrade prior to arrival and overall it was a wonderful stay.

I can't thank Florence, the front desk manager, enough for making our stay truly enjoyable. Despite arriving at midnight to find a lengthy line of guests checking in, Florence went above and beyond to ensure that we, as lifelong diamond members, received special attention and care. Her exceptional service made a lasting impression on us, and we are immensely grateful for her dedication and hospitality throughout our stay. Florence's professionalism and kindness truly made our experience memorable.

This was the worst ever hotel for a dance competition. The hotel had 2 working elevators (out of 4) and they held only 5 guests. The hotel was completely booked. It took 1.5 to get an elevator to get all our luggage to the bottom floor. Even taking the stairs was a disaster. You had to go through the staff areas to even get to the stairs and there was water leaking into the stairwell. The hotel was dingy, musty, and the toilet ran all night in our room. They advertised three restaurants and there was only 1 and a coffee shop. The restaurant was understaffed and the coffee shop shut by like 1:30. It was a wreck. I would never go back.

Room tip: Don't come here.

Absolutely the WORST hotel I ever stayed at with the family. Hilton does not live up to its name. My son as dust allergy and the room is musky and a lot of dust. Now I have get him allergy medicine for few days to get him better again. On top of that, the thermostat does not work, the room was too warm to sleep comfortably through the night. The hotel guest internet does not work with any electronic devices. They charge $14 dollars for hotel parking per vehicle. No breakfast.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Room keys never worked, Starbucks in the lobby had cream cheese with mold in it, shower is very complicated, lots of toll booths near the hotel, staff was rude, atleast the ones we interacted with, no urgency to help us after we got locked out of our room because the key cards didn’t work. Like literally none of the key cards work.

Room tip: Don’t.

Nice hotel overall and far better than expected for a "convention center" Hilton. Staff was friendly from the outset, especially since we had an oversized van that needed special parking. Room was clean and quiet. The hotel is generally outdated and seemingly transactional, but room was comfortable and spacious. A good place to stay if you need easy access onto the NJ Turnpike. There is a lot in the area, but only to drive to.
