We went to celebrate Mothers Day Brunch. We were able to enjoy a good variety in the buffet and order waffles and eggs Benedict from the menu. They had a omelet station and a carving station. We enjoyed a table full of desserts, one of my favorites was the carrot cake and the cheesecake. Guy was waiting on us and was a true gentleman to us. It was our first time going to the restaurant and he gave us the history of the location and even gave us a tour of the place. They have a beautiful wedding hall that had a warm yet grand ambience.

The food was very good, I would highly recommend going for brunch but just make sure you go there hungry.

It's a short drive from the museum we visited in Princeton to this quaint town with rustic inn. We loved the dark wood and colonial decor - especially the original deed from 1775, showing this to be the oldest restaurant in NJ! Quite spacious, excellent service and our lunch entrees were delicious. We both selected the Rainbow Trout served in sauce beurre blanc, with steamed vegatables and roasted potatoes. The sauce was so good we just had to dip our warm rolls in it! No room for dessert, but we plan to return to Princeton for more sightseeing, so we'll be sure to dine here again as well!

Ordered crab cake for appetizer. It was very obvious it was not a fresh crab cake...more along the lines of Mrs. Paul's frozen crab cake. Salad consisted of very tough romaine lettuce with 2 cherry tomatoes. Soup was supposedly broccoli and cheddar, however, it was as watery as chicken broth. Entrees were chicken artichoke saute and cavatelli with broccoli and carrots. They both had absolutely no taste . Had better food in the hospital. We both left our full entrees on the table. Our waiter asked if we wanted our food wrapped. We replied no. He did not bother to ask if there was a problem. He took both plates and brought the check. Never, ever going back. Total waste.

Met my good friend for dinner at this very nice establishment. The wait staff was very attentive without being annoying. The food was very good. I had the Veal Osso Bucco which is my favorite dish. It was delicious as was the mashed potatoes that came with it. The salad that came with the meal was also fresh and came with the dressing on the side instead of drowning the greens. My friend had the stuffed lobster tail and it also looked mouth watering. There was a beautiful room attached to the building that would make a wonderful venue for a wedding ceremony.
