The house was spacious, warm, comfortable and clean. We played hide and seek so we know all the nooks and crannies were dusted and vacuumed. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook plus a variety of coffee and tea. The WiFi was great considering the location. Things just took an extra second to load or send. We appreciated the kid-friendly touches like stools in the bathroom, night lights in every room, and the books and games in the living room. The animals were friendly and right outside our door. We got to visit the horses, alpacas, goats, sheep, and chickens. My kids particularly loved petting Honey Bear the cat. We loved the sunrise and sunset views, the hike to the pond, and exploring the equipment on the grounds. The owners gave us a thorough written guide before we arrived and they were available by text while we were there. Otherwise we occasionally saw people outside but generally felt like we were there alone! We got the peace and personal space we were looking for on a pandemic vacation. We look forward to coming back in the future when the farm can be more interactive again. I’m guessing it must be a fun time when all the kids, farmers, and animals can mingle, but for now it was just what we were looking for.
