I really enjoyed the white marquette. Service was slightly unorganized but it still ended up being fun. Don't try the Leon millot.

We drove out (about 2 yrs) to visit this winery based on the good reviews that we had read. It did not disappoint. The tasting was well organized and included a short video about the winery, wine making, and wine tasting. There was a lovely covered patio in the back with a great view where the actual tasting was held. We arrived just prior to opening and were able to picnic on the grounds at one of several picnic tables. All of the grapes for their wines are grown on the property. These were cold climate varieties of grapes and the wine produced does taste different than the California wines that we are used to. We usually drink reds but I found that the whites and roses were better. In the past, having visited numerous local wineries, I have found that I don't really care too much for the reds produced by the cold climate grapes. We did buy a bottle of white and one of rose. And we have another souvenir wine glass to add to our collection. If you do visit, don't miss the small town of Walpole where there are a few shops and places to eat.

Beautiful views and lovely service. The wines were so delicious that we decided to buy 6 bottles of our favorites! The tasting is reasonably priced at $10 and they give you a coupon of $2 of if you buy a bottle of wine. There are also tasty snack plates that you can chose to go with your wine such as crackers and hummus or cheese.

We enjoyed our wine tasting, and sampled some excellent wines. The view from the winery and tasting room is spectacular. You choose wines for your tasting, and if you buy a bottle of wine there is a $2 discount on the wine tasting. Friendly staff.

We've never experienced a wine tasting room where you could hear the mooing cows next door! However, sitting in a hilltop, floor to ceiling glass porch with views of the Monadnock Range and the VT Connecticut River Valley, our bovine friend added the perfect exclamation point. The helpful staff gave excellent descriptions of their wines - all grapes are specifically grown and blended onsite as cold weather varieties, and a short but informative video presentation highlighted the vineyard's history, growth, and vintages. We selected six wines to try - 2 white and four red, and also ordered two "snack plates" which provided us with a charcuterie styled lunch. The wine selection menu is informative and designed to take a visitor through whites, roses, and reds from dry to sweet to dessert. We tried dry wines, since that is our preference, and ended up liking two so much that we brought home bottles with us. Sadly, the winery selections are not readily available across New England, but the owner gave us a distribution list by location where the wines can be purchased. We liked visiting the winery so much, though (just take care with directions and signage), that a return visit is on the agenda.
