My family and I stayed at the Lake Breeze last week through today for my daughter's wedding. We are frequent vacation home renters as part of the fun of vacation is staying with family and you just don't get the same experience in a hotel.
The pictures of the home are great, but don't do the house justice. It's on a quiet wooded road and is as peaceful and welcoming inside as out. The gathering rooms are spacious, the kitchen is a pleasure to cook in and the beds are all comfortable - even the trundle!
The tiny private beach and dock are such fun and peaceful kayaking on the pond in the morning was the best way to start a busy day of wedding prep!
The sunroom was our bridesmaid staging area and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect space.
I was trying to come up with some cons to ensure the review is balanced - there are a lot of stairs to the top floor bedrooms! There are only two full baths which should be taken into consideration if people have a problem sharing. The upstairs bathroom is MASSIVE and directly accessible by both 2nd floor bedrooms, so we didn't have any problems at all, even with multiple girls :)
I cannot say enough positive about this vacation home. It ticked every box for me.
- Family friendly
- Spacious enough for gatherings without being on top of each other
- Peaceful setting
- Comfortable sleeping
- Good, well supplied kitchen
- Clean - the house was immaculate and smelled wonderul
It was centrally located for us as we were moving between Concord, Chichester and Barnstead for the most part and very convenient to MHT airport. I picked up family at Logan airport and Boston South Station (Amtrak) - it was quite a bit less than 2 hours one way.
