What was once a meticulously kept, updated, extremely clean place to stay has become something way less than budget accommodations at premier accommodations’ rates. Check-in was long and laborious. The indoor pool building (where my room, #65, was located) was odorous. My room was dark and uninviting. Room furnishings were old and worn (in fact, the one chair in my room had its bottom blown out!). The blanket on one of the beds was disgustingly stained with what appeared to be a body fluid. Operation of the TV was highly problematic while TV channel selection was wanting. The sliding glass door and accompanying screen were almost nonfunctional and filthy. Outdoor lighting was extremely poor. Not a very clean facility overall. Go elsewhere!

With a party of 5 women attending the Highland games. Rooms old, linens old, furniture old, pool area old and dark, Restaurant now open for breakfast only...Breakfast waitress (only 1 working) appeared and acted to be on drugs...waffle came out cold. Other orders came out in 30 minutes after ordering.Want strawberries on your waffle? They give you strawberry jelly to put on it. Property now managed by absentee management company who could care less after getting your money and their fees. They have not even replied to my last 2 reviews about this place! There are far better places to stay in Lincoln itself rather than the Indian head area.

Room tip: The indoor pool rooms have private decks.

Only positive about this place, James at the front desk was very kind, helpful and understanding. However, this hotel has gone downhill. My husband and I stayed there when it was formerly the inn of Lincoln 7 years ago, and we loved it. This time, it was disgusting, run down, and I immediately left. The building looked like an abandoned renovation. In the hall there were large dead bugs on windowsills, cobwebs, and the carpet hasn't been vacuumed in Lord knows how long. Our door lock also didn't work consistently .It took 15 minutes to even get into our room with maintenances help and even then, it only worked half the time. We had a first floor King room with a Jacuzzi. It was disgusting . The smell of the room immediately gave me a headache. There were sticky residue on the bedframe and dresser .It was revolting. We were able to get a refund and James did not seem surprised by the conditions. It's unfortunate that this hotel has sunk to this level .

We stayed here for two nights, it looks 30 minutes in the evening to check-in, there was only one counter open during the busy weekend. There was someone who was complaining exorbitant root rate for her at the check-in desk. We were given room in the nearby Annexe which is not in the main woodward resort campus at all and were not informed of same in advance. There is no staff in the Annexe in the night and you are own your own. we got a knock on our door at late night at 10 PM asking if room was occupied as it looks the room allotment was not shared with Annexe supervisor. the Tea and Coffee supply in the room were not sufficient as per number of occupants and also I saw few open sachets in room without the sugar and coffey in the room.
The location is good and very near to Flume Gorge on root 3. The breakfast was not refilled on both days, I saw many people without breakfast waiting to be refilled, there was less number of choices on Monday morning, it looks there strict instrcutions not to refill any finished breakfast, hotel needs to ensure that sufficient breakfast for all guests till 10 AM ! otherwise the things were good.

Room tip: Location near to Flume Gorge
