Just returned from a fantastic stay at the Mirage.
Hotel room clean and comfortable, bed made and bathroom cleaned every day.
All staff friendly and helpful considering they are about to lose their jobs.
The pool, bars and restaurants were all really nice. Such a shame I'll never be able to return to it as the Mirage but thanks for the memories.

Room was great, staff was helpful, pleasant. Avoid hotel restaurants - high prices for mediocre food, rip offs (we 'dined' at Osteria Costa, ordered the rigatoni w/ eggplant - needed magnifier to find the eggplant). Ate at Pantry for one lunch and two breakfasts - terrible. Inedible club sandwich (avocado was on one half of sandwich, 'meat' was unidentifiable and not chewable), burned toast at breakfast, tasteless pancakes.
Btw, it won't get better as Hard Rock gets in full swing - their restaurants here in Tampa Hard Rock are terrible (and they don't care).
Also, used to win a few bucks at Mirage - no more. The casino is dead, no excitement, nobody winning. Same with Tampa - used to be good.

Room tip: Restaurants in hotel are terrible and over priced for lack of quality.

With the announced closure of the Mirage Hotel and Casino next month I am grateful to have visited before the property is transformed into the Hard Rock. This hotel truly was spectacular and has a beautiful 1980s “moonlighting” tone to it that I will treasure forever. I will always remember the volcano. Just a spectacular resort.

Very easy check in, very clean room and the food and all staff were very friendly and pleasant.
It was nice to spend one last time at the Mirage. We were on the 10th floor strip view. Housekeeping was friendly and serviced our room daily. We had breakfast every morning at the pantry and it was very good. Otoro was wonderful and snacks was convenient and good. Didn’t care for the pizzas we got at California Kitchen.
We won money every day in the dollar slots (0ne arm bandits) and quarter game king machines.
The sports bar was fantastic! The bartenders were fantastic! I wish I could remember their names. Drinks were very easy to come by both on the floor and at the bar.
Brad was great too! Hope you all come back when Hard Rock reopens! Could not have had a more wonderful trip!

Lovely hotel, bit dated but they know that and we knew that prior to arrival and booking.

Staff pleasant and happy.

Overlooked the strip and the volcano 👍so free nightly shows if we were still in the room!

Breakfast in Nero was brilliant and plenty

We wandered the strip and checked out 7 or 8 casinos the few days we were there. I didn't realize that the Mirage's days were numbered when we went in mid March. The entry was nice, with the tropical plants and water. The casino itself was dated. The ceiling was low and the carpet dated. It was cool to see it though as my parents stayed there back in the 90's. they usually had gone to Vegas on the cheap, so staying at the Mirage was a huge step up for them and mom loved it. I'm glad I got to check it out for myself. Oh, and I won nothing, lol.
