Terrible stay and bad customer service

2.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 7 Aug 2024
Hotel is ok at best. Unfortunately, my room was right above some construction going on. I have since tried to contact the hotel with no luck as I don't appreciate being woken up at 7 am after a night of gambling and drinking because HELLO I'm in Vegas. Why this hotel would even allow construction to begin at that time is beyond me, that is very rude and inconsiderate to their guest who are paying hundreds to drink and gamble at their casino. I've reached out several times to the hotel to see what can be done but they just don't care. I will never stay there again.

This hotel is the biggest ripoff I have ever experienced. The rate we booked online tripled by the time we checked out - and we didn't charge anything to our room. We paid a little extra for a refrigerator that ended up freezing all of our food (we were told $10/night, but I still can't get a receipt out of them) - and, with no microwave, rendered it inedible. Yes, I checked to see if we could adjust the temperature, but you could not. Also, it was apparent that the bed linens were not changed regularly. There were stains and hair in the bed. For the inflated cost of staying here, this place is a joke. Take your money to a nicer spot since you'll be charged just as much to stay in this dump.

Room tip: Luxury pricing for a total dump of a hotel. Stay at your own risk.

Had a fabulous weekend getaway to Las Vegas and stayed at the iconic Flamingo Hotel. Great hotel and great staff. Had an amazing dinner at Bugsy’s and Meyers restaurant. Will definitely go back again!

The resort was ok and rooms spacious- but dirty!! The bathroom had previous guest soaps etc and lotion from the canisters had dripped and dried on the floor! No one came to clean it!! Unless you want to pay extra for housekeeping! Let’s not talk about check in!! Horrible!

Room tip: Find a place nearby that will still accommodate their guests!

Bed bugs. Understand it is difficult for hotels to mitigate 100%. Concern was in the lack of reaction, urgency, or care offered by the hotel staff. The rooms were average at best due to age of the hotel and the need for an upgrade. Highly recommend not staying here.

Room tip: One word. Avoid!!!

One of the only hotels on the strip that charges for parking at all for any customer. They even charge the people staying at the hotel in addition to the $50 per person per night resort fee. We check in with nobody to help us figure out how to get the bags out of the car and park the car. They just expect you to be dropped off at the casino and that's the only line there is. Unless you want to pay $42 a night to park for the valet. So we had to drag all of our stuff up with one of us standing on the curb while the other one parked the car and then check in at a kiosk. There wasn't even a human for that part which I've gotten that much less expensive hotels. So once we drag all of our stuff from the hot parking lot into our room with no human interaction, they have An AI guest service by text. I asked for more than two towels for the two adults, one of which is a woman with hair and typically I think most women use two towels. The assumption would be we need at least three for two grown adults but they have a limit of two towels per room. So they can't even give me a towel but they can charge me $50 a day for the privilege of staying here? And they have a pool so I guess we just don't have a pool towel. Only bathing towels and only one per person like we're in some kind of orphanage. I've never been told there's a two towel limit per room at any place I've stayed and I've stayed in some pretty yucky ones. I really can't do anything to recommend it. It seemed pretty clean but we found a previous guest hair tie on the floor so I don't know really how clean it actually was. The room was well-decorated and the air conditioning worked. Other than that I would never stay here again. It seems like almost every hotel on the strip has a better deal.

Room tip: Don't stay here. Look at the check-in experience and parking costs. Make sure you don't pay a resort fee for limits on basic necessities like towels.
