Very Nice Vegas Strip Casino/Resort

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 4 weeks ago
PLANET HOLLYWOOD is a great Vegas Strip location with Miracle Mile Shopping, theaters, eateries. The standard bathroom is HUGE! French doors enter the bathroom, sinks on either side if you have size bed for a small suite, otherwise still a huge bathroom just one sink, separate toilet room with closed door, garden tub, separate shower.

I asked to have a room near the elevator because of back and knee problems. They honored my request, but in retrospect, that was a huge mistake on my part. Every 30 seconds all night long it sounded like a freight train outside my room. I thought it was the monorail, but they told me the next day, most likely the elevator noise. They honored my request to move me to another room which was very quiet!
Date of stay: May 2024
Room Tip: Just don't get a room near the elevators. Stay several rooms away for a peaceful and quiet...

I didn't find the hotel quiet for sleeping The curtains don’t go right to the ceiling This allows aclot of light to penetrate the room.

Elevators are quick and plentiful.

Nothing special, basic room with average pillows.

No coffee machine in the room. Ugh.

Hotel is nice however the resort fees are too high! Swimming pool is average it's crazy that you can't sit or Lay poolside without having to reserve a lounge bed or chair, I can understand having to pay for a cabana. But we are already paying high resorts fees so we should not be charged to want to lay by the pool. That's wasted money those resort fees what benefits are we getting from those fees. Most likely won't stay here again, we do like the location and that's why we stayed here. Next time will stay at MGM their pool is amazing! and resort fees are much less. Also front desk doesn't give information about hotel like just a quick run down of the Hotel, the customer service needs work! Rooms need better lighting as well as the bathroom.

I really, really didn’t like this hotel and would avoid any Ceasers premises as a result.

We arrived later in the evening. Our room wasn’t available. The staff didn’t care and said we should’ve read the small print that says they don’t have to provide the room you’ve paid for.

Then next day we had to repack and drag our bags across when the room did become available.

The place was filthy and it stunk. There were stains on the walls and the carpets were disgusting. The mirrors in the lifts were smashed. Honestly, it’s a mess.

The room wasn’t any better. Furniture was broken. The bath tap was broken. The sink was broken. It’s a mess.

I went to complain but the queue for checking was huge and I honestly couldn’t be bothered.

The place is an absolute rip off. The pool is rubbish. They charge so much for a lounger that people were just led on the concrete. I went to get a drink and they wanted nearly $40 for a cocktail. It’s an absolute joke.

We wrote the whole place off and spent our time and money at the Wynn.

You can read this review and the other bad reviews and just think we’re being fussy. But, honestly, I’ll never go back to another Ceasers resort again.

What a bad hotel. Waitresses are rude. Room is dirty. All around disappointing place to stay. You get the joy of being treated like dirt while staying in a lame old dirty hotel. Do not stay here. You can find a much better experience literally anywhere else.

We came to PH about a month ago and we loved the experience so we decided to stay at PH after our flights were delayed into Vegas and we didn’t want to drive the 2 hours home. The 1st issue was the valet, there was a person who just parked their car in the middle of the valet line blocking anyone to pull forward to get to the valet. Then the valet person (we did not get his name) saying if we tipped 10 or 20 dollars he would park the car closer. Then when we get to the check in kiosks which are supposed to be easier I was informed that my room wasn’t ready at 9pm. So we go to the desk and did get our room. We get to the room, there is trash on the floor, there is what looks like stains on the windows from people having sex on them, dust is everywhere. Hair in the sink. Due to it being a little later when we go to check in we wanted to order room service, and the TV has two different numbers that you can text “food” too, neither work, and then the QR code said the account was deleted (not sure what account as we did not enter any information). Pin up pizza was closed when we tried to order for room service as they didn’t have the staff. As someone who paid for a room and is a platinum level with Caesars Rewards I find this highly unacceptable.

Positives of stay, casino was good and the cafe Hollywood was delicious and staff were friendly.

We have stayed at various Caesars properties and I am at the point of not wanting to return to any. I hope that PH takes a good look at these pictures and this review and figures things out.
