This is a beautiful hotel, you feel good from the moment you step in and face a big balloon made entirely of flowers in one corner and an amazing carrossel in the other. Overall decoration is classy and you really feel in an upscale place. We stayed in the Tower Suites in fantastic rooms, they were really accommodating about having a baby along with 5 adults. It costs a little more but is well worth it, all the amenities and private pool made it an even better experience. Service is amazing, everyone in the hotel has a guest-first mentality and you really feel welcome. Restaurants were really good, food was amazing especially at the SW steakhouse. The show La Reve is amazing and worth going as well. The only reason this hotel does not get my maximum rating is because we could not dine with our baby in any of the restaurants, luckily we had family to look out for him to enjoy, but still hoped they would be a little more accommodating in that sense. That said, it will probably be a while until we go back to Vegas again, but in any case, when I do, Wynn will be our top choice!

Room tip: Stay in the Tower Suites, costs more but was worth it!

A great place to stay in Vegas. Property is gorgeous- on the strip- super high end shopping on the property but close to more mainstream shops (Zara, Top Shop etc) in the Fashion Show Mall (literally across the street).
Rooms are huge and well done. Not one complaint- everything top notch.
Can't go wrong with this one.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Wynn. The hotel rooms were really spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The service was also great. They have a really nice casino and the pool is nice as well. I would ask for a room facing away from the pool because at night they have parties and it can get a bit loud and you may hear some noise. It is not to the point where you cant sleep, but if your a VERY light sleeper, it may bother you a bit. If your heading to Vegas, this is a great place to stay at!

Room tip: Get a hotel on a high floor and not facing the pool

My wife and I are expecting our second child and wanted to get away together before the new baby arrives. She especially enjoyed the fitness center, the expectant mother massage and relaxing by the pool. I enjoyed putting 200 miles on a brand new Porsche 911 that we rented from Hertz at the Wynn. We spent a day driving through the Las Vegas Ski Area and Mount Charleston and then drove the scenic loop through Red Rock Canyon. The quality of the hotel and the attention to every detail is amazing. Every staff member we encountered was professional, friendly and extremely welcoming, including the girl at the Hertz counter!

Room tip: We chose a corner panoramic king room at the Wynn on an upper floor. The views of the strip and mountains were amazing. These rooms are especially quiet because they are at the end of the hallway.

We've been staying at the Wynn on every visit to Vegas for several years now. Here are some quick pros and cons to consider:

Pro

~beautiful, tasteful and spotless facility
~shielded from the tackiness of the strip by a "mountain" with cascading waterfalls and the lake of dreams
~tons of food options
~huge pool, and a separate adult pool
~casino is quieter and less crowded
~staff are very attentive
~seamless check and check out with never any trouble on our bill
~across street from huge fashion show mall with additional shopping and food choices

Cons

~north end of strip so long walk to center strip
~pool culture in Vegas (not just at wynn) is getting annoying. So many deck chairs cost money to sit in (ones closest to pool) or are reserved for cabana guests. If you plan to shell out big bucks for a cabana you will get pampered at the pool. If you travel as a couple and just want a deck chair, expect to sit further from the pool and to get less service from waitresses when cabanas fill up. Also, I asked for an umbrella one afternoon and told I would be on a waiting list. When I looked around, several cabana guests had umbrellas erected on their cabana patio. This was the height of elitism for me. If you pay $500 for a cabana, why sit outside it and take up the umbrellas from everyone else? Wynn should be mindful of their non-cabana guests, but so many luxury Vegas hotels are doing the same thing.
~expect high class shopping at wynn/encore...Chanel, givenchy, etc. Not exactly shopping for the masses.

Room tip: Golf course view rooms on lower floors may hear DJ noise from adult pool on weekends during the day...if you want quiet, request a higher floor. Tower suites are the same room as resort rooms, but you get access to tower suite pools, breakfast at tableau (awesome), and free wifi, no resort fees.
