NICE HOTEL CLOSE TO THE STRIP

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 12 Mar 2021
We stayed at this property for four nights from 03/07 – 03/11. I made reservations through the properties website and was given the room I requested. However only on the 2nd floor. I recommend getting a 3rd floor room as the noise from above can be a problem.
This hotel/casino is located far enough away from the strip to be quiet, but close enough to walk to located far enough from the strip that it's quiet, but close enough you could walk to the strip if you so choose.
Every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful.
The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, furnished with a work desk, couch, end chair, kitchenette table w/2 chairs. There is a place for a microwave but you must request one to be delivered to the room. The room was immaculate upon checking in and after each daily maid visit.
The grounds are meticulously maintained and very inviting. There are two pools, the central large pool, and a lap pool at the exercise building.
There are 4 restaurants/cafes located on the grounds.
A couple minor annoyances prevent this from being a 5-star review. The shower head is on a large gooseneck and as such can not be diverted in a downward fashion. I am 6 feet and the lower half of my body could not get direct spray from the shower head.
The aforementioned lack of sound-proofing makes adjacent and hall noise an issue.
I don’t know if Nevada has legalized weed, but the smell is pervasive in certain locations on the grounds, though I did not smell any in the buildings.
The resort fee of $39/night plus tax is a little high for what you get in return. The resort fee doubled the price of the room. Room rate was 41.58/night. Total for the four-night stay with resort fee/resort fee tax was $362.08
Overall, I recommend staying here. It is a relatively comfortable and quiet location close to the strip.

The rooms have large gaps on the bottom of the doors so you can see and hear people thumping by your room. If you don't select a top floor, you will hear them above you too.
The gym has old equipment, and they don't allow you to turn the television stations so if you want to watch the game you're betting on instead of "Paw Patrol" you have to call housekeeping to come in with a remote because they will leave not leave it there -- STUPID -- You're a casino, you PRINT money, you can buy a hundred of them in bulk if you're so afraid of someone stealing a tv remote.
They have a couple of overpriced restaurants so I didn't bother, the coffee shop is decent though.
The worst is that after checking out over two weeks ago my credit card still has the authorization hold from them on it. Three calls and "this person isn't in" and "Leave a message", blah, blah, blah. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and this has never happened anywhere in the whole world, seriously; and they INSIST on you using credit card -- not cash.
A casino not interested in cash, or it's customers. You can do better.

Room tip: Top floor farthest from the elevator.

Housekeeper threw out our snacks and drinks, before we checked out. Check out time was 11am we got back to our room at 10 am. Only went down stair to get some breakfast. Manager treated us like we where lying about it. This place is a joke.

Yesterday was our wedding anniversary and we had booked a reservation to stay here a couple of months ago. We have stayed here many times in the past but never again! They failed to tell us when we made our reservation that they changed their policy that you can no longer use a debit card for incidentals. We do not have a credit card because we are debt-free and they refused our reservation! They literally left us stranded in Las Vegas on our anniversary on a Friday night. And they didn't care. I was literally standing there crying and pleading with the manager that we had nowhere to go and she was cold as ice about it. Shame on you Tuscany Suites for ruining our 10th anniversary!!!

Car broke down in Vegas and had previously visited this hotel for the reasonably priced and full cooked food at Marilyn's Cafe. Stayed in a large two bedrrom Executive Suite for $76.00 total cost (with the pesky resort fees included). Room was spacius, with a full sized bathroom. One of the best rooms I have had in Vegas over the years. The staff was superbly friendly and thugh it was winter tere endless lap pool was available in te gym. Great Italian restaurant on property. Will try it again in the Spring so we can access the larger pool. Dollar for dollar, probably my best buy in Vegas in reecent years. Casino is all slots and the sports book fo now. Gaming tables were - all of three were clased due to Coivd. Received AAA discount.

Room tip: I can advise the excutive suite is larger than as comfortable as any well maintained average apartmet with a generous bathroom.

We have stayed here each year for 8 years. We prepay our reservations. We traveled 1200 miles to get here. When checking in, they said we needed a credit card for incidentals. We used our visa debit for reservation and resort fees but they wouldn't accept that. they turned us away. The reservation manager was rude and looked down her nose at us. We are 70 years old and don't use credit. We pay our way. i guess some places don't need money during the covid virus restrictions. We left. I was in tears. We didn't know what to do
