Went in June 2021 on a comp offer when the pool first opened. During my stay only the main pool was open as they were still finishing the upper level pool and the day club. Casino floor was extremely empty.
Rooms in the Ruby tower are larger but has a pretty weird layout and furnishings, reminding me of an airport lounge. Two rows of couches including one underneath the TV, for what reason? They're not very comfortable as they're shallow and firm, like an airport lounge. A bench next to the bed again, for what reason? I actually used it for my back roller, which was ok for the job. No working desk or desk of any kind in the room at all, but there's a small dinner table in addition to the coffee table in between the couch rows. Two TVs but back to back is also a strange design. Why not just make it spinnable?
Everything is priced towards the higher end of the strip level, though this is offstrip and really not up to the standard of a Cosmo or Wynn. One of my favorite steak houses was the MB when it was the Hard Rock, but it looks like they just reopened the same place renamed it and raised prices by 30%. Only 1 real casino bar, as the Circle Bar was taken out and that was one of the best places to hang before and after shows. Now there's a strange looking lobby bar that seems to take itself too seriously to be a casual hangout.
Overall not feeling it and doubt it will get much better unless the day club becomes Rehab glory days level, or during shows and fights, but those F&B prices are going to put a deep dent in most people's pockets.
