Support your staff / especially your housekeepers

Mattress was quite bad, and we did not have clean towels on a few days out of the 6 days we stayed at the hotel. Housekeepers felt embarrassed that they could not provide us with clean towels. We had to purchase our own after the second time this happend; seriously! I hope this gets address for future guests and to avoid staff going through this.

My first night checking in I lost 5k at this casino was being followed and harassed the whole time by hotel worker employees who noticed me spending money and was watching me , they had the nerve to come up to me and ask me how much I had spent to get my balance at what it was HOW rude , secondly they had some guy who works for the casino come up to me and told me he made 5k on the tables and wanted to spend some money and wanted to go to CVS and get a “cd” me I had no idea what that was later found out it meant condom .. I’m not a prostitute nor look like it I’m a paying customer who docent cause problems and I mind my own business. My first night gambling groups of 2/5 people working for the casino came up to me on 3 different occasions . The first group signed me up for the players card and didn’t add no comp credit for slots which I later found out most casinos do .. they also didn’t give me the correct card based on what I was spending and they didn’t finish setting up my card I had to go to the cashier to do so . End results I ended up losing 5k my friend 1k didn’t get a comp room only 150 dollar comp for 2 people at a restaurant . The second day I decided to check out and go some place else when A lady walked up to me while playing asking for my ID mind u I spent over 24 hours in the casino I said I’m almost 30 here u go and she got very rude and said she would call security that it’s Las Vegas law . THATS fine u have my passport in ur hand .. upon leaving I realized I left a pair of 600 dollar glasses in the room for a fact I called the hotel was directed to lost and found they did not have them than I was directed to housekeeping management who said she would call me back in 10’minutes after looking at the room check out paper , I called back 3 times and she said I will call u back in 10/15 minutes she never did I showed up at the hotel brought up my issue they said that they don’t have anything from that day or room that was found but could later mail them to me if found they never gave me a yes or no answer weather they had my glasses or not would never stay again the decor tho was very beautiful .

Lets start off by saying the staff upgraded us to a suite and that was awesome. (We are DIAMOND members) but having said that the room is a bit of a jog from the parking (which is free) to your room and there are no signs to assist you in that process. We were in the Ruby tower and had to take two elevators to our room. When we first arrived the signage was useless finding out how to get to our assigned room. I also found out there was another check in area near the ruby tower elevators I could have used verses sitting in line for over 20 minutes. The hotel itself was nice but I think for those wanting the full Vegas strip experience may be disappointed. There were a few restaurants onsite and the food was great at Casa Calavera but it didn’t have that Vegas pop. The casino area also seemed somewhat boring and lacked the excitement. Now having said all that; it was perfect for us as I was looking for an off strip laid back location. There seems to be some growing pains at this location as their app didnt work properly even though all the in room information tells you to use it. The refrigerator in the room was only there for their high priced items. The breakfast also with your (gold-diamond) credit barely covers a bagel and coffee. Way overpriced for a basic hot breakfast. All in all we enjoyed the hotel but it may not be everyones taste. On the plus side there are inexpensive dining options within a short walking distance.

We had a nice one-night stay at the remodeled former Hard Rock near the airport. The interior spaces are beautiful - bright and open compared to the Hard Rock. Our room overlooking the pool complex was nicely appointed and comfortable. I can't figure out, however, how they could spend so much money remodelling everything and not do something about the ill-placed toilet in our bathroom. A normal-sized person can hardly avoid scraping their leg up against the TP holder.

I've been looking forward to staying and experiencing the new Virgin hotel since they made the announcement a couple of years ago. Recognizing it being a 4th of July Holiday weekend, I expected a busy and chaotic hotel. However, it didn't feel that way. I checked in on July 3rd so avoided some of the mass arrivals the day prior. The hotel recognized my Hilton Honors Diamond status and upgraded me to a beautiful one bedroom suite with strip view in the Ruby Tower. I recommend staying at the Ruby Tower. It is in the back side of the hotel, close to the gym and pool access but it also provides a separate check in/check out desk (which I learned after I checked in at the main arrival desk). The room is very well designed. The gym is very large and well equipped... there is a wonderful juice bar next to the gym with delicious smoothies. We tried a couple of the restaurants and the food was delicious. The pool areas were obviously very busy over the holiday weekend but able to find chairs to lay down. My only angst with the stay was one illogical hotel policy. I purchased a couple of smoothies at the hotel juice bar and when I attempted to take them in with me to the pool I was told that I couldn't since "outside food & beverage isn't allowed".... this wasn't purchased outside as it was at the hotel's own juice bar but apparently they only allow purchases at the pool bar. Extremely ridiculous and irrational so plan ahead. Otherwise, I would go back and stay at the hotel since it's more quiet, intimate and off the strip (but not too far)... and can earn my Hilton honors points. The team members were also very friendly and accommodating. Lastly. not having to pay the ridiculous resort fee is also very helpful and provides great value.

Hotel is modern and rooms are nice. Amenities are hit or miss. The pool is seriously lacking on umbrellas for a consistently sunny Las Vegas. So many people searching for one but few available. Had to turn around and go back to the room and couldn’t use the pool for leisure time without some reprieve from the sun. Cabanas are available for rent, likely an upsell tactic and why there are so few umbrellas. Disappointing to pay so much for a hotel and not even get a pool to use. If you want a pool for your stay, avoid this hotel. If you plan to stay in your room the entire time it’s fine, they are well appointed.
