Sammy's Island Experience

3.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 1 Jul 2024
My family rented a cabana at the pool. I just think it could have been cleaner for how much $$ we spent. The cushions were all over the place and dirty with crumbs and hair from yesterday's guests I suppose? We were there at 11:30 am so I think we were the first of that day to use the cabana. On a good note: The staff were friendly, working hard and so were the bartenders at the Tequila Bar!

This resort was fantastic! Clean, great food, wonderful room (we got the strip view rooms) and even better staff! We made it a point to mak it to the Seafood Buffet and it was DELUXE! We had great food, wonderful company and truly enjoyed our time. We will definitely be back!

My family and I enjoyed our stay. Not only did we enjoy the amenities at the hotel, one staff in particular (Paige at the front desk) was approachable, very kind, helpful, and exuded great energy with each interaction. We had a wonderful time.

Had a great time at palms pool. In a time where local resorts are getting greedy with covers and such, palms offers free pool days on weekends. Reasonable drink prices. Awesome staff. Shout out to Patricia @the unknown lounge for being absolutely amazing. Will for sure be back!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Palms. The room was clean and comfortable. The casino is clean and has a nice selection of slots, VP, and table games. Mabel's was closed which was a bummer. The brunch is definitely worth the $33 price, especially with the bottomless mimosas!

Shout out to Paige at the front desk for being so friendly and helpful. Also, Pam at the VP bar who got me well prepared for my flight (scared of flying) with a few stiff drinks. All of the staff was friendly and helpful.

This is the spot!!! It was our first trip to Vegas ever! This was a family trip and we couldn’t have ask for a better hotel or area! The staff was very tentative. Our sink in the bathroom stopped up and they immediately came to fix it. When they finished they made sure housekeeping came to keep it up. The pool hours are kinda odd 10-6 I would suggest they be longer due to the heat. You aren’t allowed to even take water in the pool area. To me that seems a little bit too much. They will give you water at the bar but it gets hot before you can even drink it. The parking is free so that was a plus. The only negative thing I have to say is the AC in the room would no go below 68. We kept it set to 50 at all times. But 68 seemed to be its peak. I guess that maybe due to the extreme heat there. Also if you book through TripAdvisor/Expedia the rooms are much cheaper!! Over all it was a wonderful stay off the strip but close to enough. I would give it a 10/10 for cleanliness in the rooms.
