My husband and I came here for a few days for my birthday to get out of the Colorado cold we’ve been having in early May.
We booked through the hotel site, Bc, well, that’s how you get what you want. Not a Vegas rookie.
Also for all of those reviewers that were disappointed in rooms and noise....uhhhhh you’re in a giant Vegas resort, during the Summer season, what did you expect, Palm Springs?
At any rate, we reserved in the newly renovated Fantasy Tower and the room was beautiful and modern. The view was overlooking the pool and again, fantastic!
We did arrive prior to check in, and our room wasn’t ready, so I gave them my cell # and they called as soon as it was, which as about an hour before actual check in.
The newly redone pool was gorgeous, but there is a second pool at Palms Place, lots of little kids (who brings small kids on a Vegas vacation??) and it’s much smaller, and not nearly as nice as the main pool at Kaos, which does turn into a day club Fri-sun, as most big Vegas resort pools now do on the weekends; it’s cash flow people, that’s why they do it. The drinks poolside are pricey....but....it’s Vegas and unless you’re off strip, you’re going to pay.
The breakfast place (Lucky Penny) was great, quick, and had lots of options.
Vetri Cucina on the top floor was fabulous for dinner, fantastic views of the strip and the food was exquisite!
All in all a great stay, and would totally come back!
