In short, this hotel is – even for Las Vegas – beyond disgusting and overpriced. Think Spirit Airlines charging American Airlines first class fare. I have half a mind to dispute the charge on my credit card. One should also be aware that it is, with regard to the pool at least, a “party hotel.” This fact has no bearing on my rating, but I think is something some travelers would like to know. I guess they mention this fact if you bother to read the pool description on the website, but we missed that. As for the details of the experience we had… We decided to book a pool side cabana since we were just in town for two nights for a special occasion. It was just over $1300 for two nights. 4pm check in, 11am check out – that’s 43 hours. The room: I have travelled the world from bougie to budget and I have never seen anything as disgusting as this. The first thing you notice is the smell. It hit us in the face when we walked in… like wet carpet sealed up in a bag and stuck in a hot closet for a week. Sure you can open the door to the “cabana” but then you can’t use AC. I don’t have words for how gross the bathroom was. The pictures should help – I took them as soon as we arrived and I can’t even upload as many as I have. The shower door had soap drips and scum on it (not from cleaning), there was hair in the sink and shower, the soap dispensers were covered in crusty drips (which also were on the floor and shower tile – they weren’t fresh), and the sink looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in lord knows how long. I wondered, hoped, it was perhaps stained so I swabbed it with a qtip and found it was indeed just grime. I went bigger with a Kleenex and that just made it even clearer how dirty it really was. There was hair on the floor, as well as spots that came up easily with a Kleenex, so clearly a quick mopping hadn’t even been done. Surprisingly, the bed and fridge appeared to be clean. For my sanity I inspected no further. Had we not had an event to get to right after check in I would have demanded a change in rooms or a straight up refund. We slept in the room the first night and left for another event for the duration of the next day. We were gone pretty much the entire day, and when we returned around 7pm we found that our room had not been serviced. The bed was as we left it and the bathroom was still a biohazard. We never put the occupied sign on the door either, so it’s not as if they came by and left. $1300 for 43 hours. The “cabana”: we knew this was just a pool side patio, but it’s not really clear until you arrive that the partitions between the room patios are slatted, so there isn’t any privacy from your neighbors. Fine, it’s Las Vegas. BUT it was unusably disgusting as well. There were cigarette butts all over the ground. The couch was torn up and had cigarette burns and ashes all over it, not to mention all the stains. There was even just garbage on the ground in several places. It was appalling. $1300 for 43 hours. The pool: the pool is about the size of an in ground backyard pool for an entire Vegas size hotel. Let that set the stage for the ability to use the pool. I wanted to take a picture, but I assumed people wouldn’t like that. You literally couldn’t find a space to get in. It was standing room only. I’m not sure I would have wanted to given…everything, but it didn’t even seem an option. The music is at a decibel level at least on par with a nightclub, if not louder. We opted not to subject ourselves, but the rooms are not soundproof so the constant thud of the base was inescapable. Luckily the pool hours are 9am to 6pm. But that’s probably really annoying if you actually want to use it. The hotel: meh, it’s a Las Vegas hotel with overpriced restaurants (relatively, it does seem lacking in places to just grab a drink though). It looks like it isn’t well cared for – paint and plaster peeling and chipping everywhere, fixtures missing all over the place, etc. They definitely need a cleaning staff; yes, it’s Vegas and there are people making messes everywhere all the time, but there was confetti on the floor in an elevator – in the same place – from the time we arrived until the time we left and there was one bathroom that had the same gross gunk on the floor in the same place from the time we arrived until the time we left. Overall, I can say that this is the most terrible value ever, even for Las Vegas. I didn’t even think to look at reviews since it’s a Caesar’s property and they have a pretty good reputation, this is an enormous blemish on their reputation for sure. They need to clean up their act or cut their prices astronomically.

While the hotel staff were quite friendly, the guestroom left a lot to be desired. The shower was not clean (wad of hair on the wall), and the product dispenses were empty (shampoo and body soap). The toilet seat was loose, as was the toilet paper dispenser. One if the table lamps had dead bulbs. Lastly, the HVAC unit was very noisy (making it tough to sleep). Overall, the hotel is fine, but the rooms need much attention!!!

First the room smelled of a combination of Some kind of bug spray. The AC unit in the room is making an ungodly noise! I called the front desk. They sent maintenance and now they have to replace the whole unit which is ridiculous! I will never stay
Room tip: Don’t stay at this hotel

First time, probably last! Everything is a money grab! Including WI-FI! Had nothing but issues with that! Ugh! Never thought I would have to PAY $75 to sit by a pool and are “required” to spend at least $100! WTF! OMG! And it closed at 6pm….105 degree weather! (40 Celsius). A good manager would have extended that time so THEIR customers could get relief! Be prepared for $20 regular cocktails!
Vegas has definitely changed! Sooooooo expensive!

The Linq is mainly a place for those who do not require more than a bed, shower and place to store belongings. It is priced for being on the strip. Be mindful of the resort fees charged even though nothing about it felt like a resort. Housekeeping didn't come until we told them to because we needed towels. The pool experience is entry level, you want really low key vibes. The Linq simply serves a fundamental travel stay purpose.

Second visit to Las Vegas, and the Linq put me off returning. On arrival we were directed to an automated service rather than an actual person which took forever (yet still quicker than the VIP reception). After paying for an upgraded room, we walked into our room to find our view was a wall with a bunch of rubble in front of it! We requested a room worthy of the upgrade we had paid for and got a pool view room. But this one had the loudest air con I've ever heard in my life. Not wanting to complain again, we switched it off and tried to get some sleep (long early flight from the UK) but were woken up by the room above us putting their also very loud air con on. It was 40°c when we visited but couldn't have our air con on to sleep! We reported it to the reception who asked a maintenance man to fix it. He came, replaced the unit switched it on and the new one was as loud as the last one! He then walks away saying "all air con is loud!". We have visited many hotels on our travels and never have we been kept awake by such loud air con. It was honestly like a jumbo jet was approaching our room. Obviously the people in the room above had the same issue because they turned theirs off at night to sleep too.
The attitude of the staff, the extortionate extra costs and the lack of sleep means I would never return to the Linq. The location is good but so are many others with cheaper rooms and better views.
Room tip: From what I could see, the pool was standing room only so don't expect to go for a swim.
