Second visit to Las Vegas, and the Linq put me off returning. On arrival we were directed to an automated service rather than an actual person which took forever (yet still quicker than the VIP reception). After paying for an upgraded room, we walked into our room to find our view was a wall with a bunch of rubble in front of it! We requested a room worthy of the upgrade we had paid for and got a pool view room. But this one had the loudest air con I've ever heard in my life. Not wanting to complain again, we switched it off and tried to get some sleep (long early flight from the UK) but were woken up by the room above us putting their also very loud air con on. It was 40°c when we visited but couldn't have our air con on to sleep! We reported it to the reception who asked a maintenance man to fix it. He came, replaced the unit switched it on and the new one was as loud as the last one! He then walks away saying "all air con is loud!". We have visited many hotels on our travels and never have we been kept awake by such loud air con. It was honestly like a jumbo jet was approaching our room. Obviously the people in the room above had the same issue because they turned theirs off at night to sleep too.

The attitude of the staff, the extortionate extra costs and the lack of sleep means I would never return to the Linq. The location is good but so are many others with cheaper rooms and better views.
Date of stay: August 2024
Room Tip: From what I could see, the pool was standing room only so don't expect to go for a swim.

Very large hotel, spotlessly clean and very secure. Even going to the hotel pool you need photographic ID, or room keys to get into the lifts. Rooms were large and spotlessly clean, we were able to ask for rooms close together as there are several 'District' spread over the hotel. Good parking in secure garage.

Room tip: If travelling with several rooms ask to be located close to each other

It is the only Vegas hotel we stayed in but was the last of 7 hotels we used on our US Road trip. It had the smallest least well-equipped room, the smallest beds and a tiny bathroom. It also had an additional $45 a night ‘resort fee’ and $25 a night for parking so did not represent value for money for us. The staff were pretty surly and unhelpful and the on-site eateries were expensive. Much of this is probably common to all hotels on the strip but they were more of a destination: the Linq is just an ugly hotel on top of a casino.

Room tip: The pool is adults only so families have to walk to nearby hotels to use the pool.

Reserved a king bed with city view……got a 2 queens with parking structure view…………front desk staff just “we don’t have the room you reserved” Room was awful, AC the most noise I’ve ever encountered in a hotel room. Front desk staff not helpful at all, seemed they could care less. Parking situation was so disjointed……..terrible experience, will never stay there again. VERY surprised that it’s a Ceasar’s property…….other hotels are top notch. Not so much for this one.

Room tip: Don’t stay here

The Linq Hotel will nickel and dime your for their services.
1. We arrived at the hotel 45 minutes before check-in time. Our room was ready and available but they charged us $20 to check-in 45 minutes early.
2. Our friend’s room on the same floor and same room rate, had a refrigerator, our room did not. When we called to ask for a refrigerator, they said it would cost $20 for the refrigerator🤬
3. Our friend’s room had a box of Kleenex. Our room did not. When we asked the house cleaner in the hallway for a box of Kleenex, he said he did not have any Kleenex and gave us a package of napkins.
4. After housekeeping cleaned our room, he left all the dirty towels on the bathroom floor.
5. Our safe in the room was broken and would not open. We followed the instructions to reset the safe code without success. When we called the front desk, they said they would send maintenance up but we needed to be present in the room. They could not tell us how long it would be before maintenance would arrive. Why do we need to be in the room when housekeeping staff enters our room daily when we are out?
6. One of two light bulbs missing in bed night stand light. Called housekeeping, never fixed.

Beware. Never again…

We stayed at the LINQ comped in August during Caesars' 10x event. This was the 5th time we have stayed at the LINQ and also had another stay while it was still Imperial Palace.

We checked in late around 10:00pm. It was quite busy but got served quickly in the Diamond line. We received a king room in District 3 on the 8th floor. Our room overlooked the pool.

The room was clean and as expected. There was a fridge for personal use. It's a basic room but it does the trick. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We had no issues with hot water and had good water pressure.

The pool music is loud. It starts between 0900-0930 hrs, so if you want to sleep in, you might want a room higher up or not facing the pool. As said, it was loud and you could hear the words of the song perfectly. We didn't sleep late, so wasn't bothersome to us.

The elevators get a bad rap, but again on this trip we had no real issues. We used the elevators for District 2 mainly, but when we left the room, we used the District 3 elevators. The only time we had a small wait was around 1100 hrs when everyone was checking out.

Lots of variety in food options on offer, and an easy walk down the LINQ Promenade. The casino floor isn't as vast as other hotels, but easy to pop into Harrah's or Flamingo for more selection when needed. The pool is 21+ There was games to play and pool floaties for everyone's use.

You can't beat the location of this hotel. Would stay here again.
