Room Tip: Don’t listen to the bitchy reviews, nothing makes those folks happy! This place is a great deal...

Management is AWFUL
Hotel is mediocre, you're better off at a facility that cares about it's customers and the safety of their guests.

The fire alarm went off at 2:30 am. The room signs say to go downstairs. We listened for announcements it did not hear any. After going down 19 flights of stairs with 2 small kids, the management team tried to gaslight the large group of us that were upset.

"Your floor didn't have a fire alarm" yes it did
"You didn't listen to the announcements" almost all of us hadn't heard an announcement
"You're supposed to stay in your room" and "you chose to come down here" THE ROOM SIGN SAYS TO

Between hotel fees, parking fees, an ungodly amount of smoking in the building, and overpriced food on the Promenade/in the building, you might as well pay for Flamingo or Harrah's. Especially since their valet is at Harrah's and their family pool is at Flamingo.

I wouldn't trust anything at the Linq

Room tip: Have low expectations for air quality and customer service. If you can manage your trip without needing anything, you'll hopefully be okay

Horrible place. Beware that they will not honor the price you book the reservation at if they feel it is too low due to a glitch in their booking system. Bait and switch, changed price by nearly $200 the day of the reservation after time had passed to cancel and charged me the going rate at check in. Booked ON THEIR WEBSITE and the best they would do is give me a 2 hour late checkout for my "troubles"

Let's begin with the most memorable incident and then move on to the brighter aspects.

Firstly, I woke up to a gurgling sound. Upon inspection in the bathroom, I discovered a black sludge puddle in my shower. I promptly phoned the front desk for a cleanup and inquired about potential compensation. They promised to send someone and instructed me to discuss the compensation at the front desk. Two hours later, after my third request for shower cleanup, a person finally arrived to clean. The front desk attendant, though polite and professional, initially offered a food voucher as compensation. At this point, our plans had been delayed by two hours due to our inability to get ready. I insisted on a waiver of our resort fee, given that we had missed out on our morning activities at the resort. After a conversation with the manager, they agreed to this request.

The resort fee was sneaky. The third party I booked through, Klook, did mention the fee, but it was in a separate attachment, in fine print, and seemed like it was $50. However, it turned out to be $50 per person, which I only discovered upon check-in and it was too late to cancel. I'm unsure whether this oversight is Klook's or the resort's. The parking fee was also misrepresented as $20 in Klook's email, when it was actually $35.

I'm glad that I was able to get the fee waived, but disappointed that I had to fight for it, even after showing them the picture of the black puddle.

On the bright side, our room was clean and the staff were friendly.

Room tip: Be very careful about hidden fees! Read the fine print.

Check in is a mess. Kiosks and only 2 actual people working. Early check in will run you at least $60. We had a king suite in District 3 - it was nice to have 2 bathrooms but it’s basically an upgraded standard room. Every thing could be cleaner. The complimentary dispensers on the rooms aren’t filled. The location is the best part. I wouldn’t stay again - spend extra for the Flamingo or Harrahs.

Room tip: Check in! Fly in after 3pm to save yourself the hassle.

Check in process is very archaic. The lines are very long. Only 2 staff working the front desk. There are kiosks… but there were always problems and people end up going to wait in line with those 2 people.
Kiosks dirty.
Bathrooms in room not the cleanest. No soap. One towel. Stains on comforter.
Everything else great.

Room tip: Pay the $60 early check in… it’s worth it not to wait in those lines
