On arrival to our hotel in Vegas ( all very tired and hungry) we faced so many disappointments.
To start with we had to wait 25 mins to be checked in as self checking service wouldn’t work with our passports . Receptionists ( 2 of them ) was busy on computer and there was only one other person in the queue.
When I checked us in I did ask for our rooms to be as near to each other as possible due to grandads medical condition (he has seizures ) so I could check on him regularly! I had no response from the lady and was given keys to our rooms .
Then we find out that our rooms were completely on the opposite side of the building and different floors .
To add to this when we checked our rooms there was many other issues :
- Only two towels for 3 people!
- No soap in soap dispenser
- Terrible view ( see attached image)
-Our room was missing a fridge, it has a huge gap and plug for it next to the wardrobe but nothing there! (Grandad) did have a fully working fridge - Upon asking the reception they said a fridge was no always guaranteed with a room!?!
- Toilet seat was dirty, chipped, stained and had burn marks on it ( see attached photo)
- Safe was not working so had to call for someone to fix it and waited 20 minutes before we could go out
- We were told that pool at the Linq is not for under 21 years old so my daughter was really upset
-( grandad ) paid for same room as us but was given smaller room with one bed !?
When we contacted reception to report our issues we faced very unhelpful, unprofessional staff . We were made to like we were a nuisance and the person couldn’t wait to get rid of us of the phone . We were also told that we get what we paid for and that towels would be delivered later that day, no other support or apology was given .
Would definitely not return or recommend this hotel !!
