The food selection is awesome. We kept eating at this breakfast biscuit sandwich place and my sandwiches were amazing. The casino was pretty dank and dark. What makes up for that is the very cool chandelier bar. Service was nowhere to be found at times, but video poker at the bar kept me busy.

The location is superb, pay for views over Bellagio fountains and they are stunning suite rooms are spacious and well appointed. Unfortunately balcony furniture is dirty and poorly maintained. Service and care for guests at best an afterthought

Room tip: Check availability of venues as they get booked to convention guests so making unavailable to resort guests

WARNING: We booked out trip to Las Vegas for 5 days and were excited to stay at the Cosmopolitan.
We had booked a corner suite and when we entered the room, it was beautiful. But we were on the 6th floor overlooking a pool where from 12 to 6, they have an "adult" Day Camp, complete with loud Hip Hop music blaring from large speakers. The bass was felt physically, and the glass was flexing, it was so loud. It was impossible to ignore.
We immediately went to check in and told them we could not stay in that suite.
The Manager apologized and offered us ear plugs as he told us it would not be any better on any other floor. But we agreed to move to another suite that had no view as the balcony walls were so high and music just as loud, he was right. So, we checked out, which they handled very well, and MGM came through again with a penthouse suite at New York New York, we were lucky.

Cosmopolitan is beautiful, restaurants amazing but this is a warning to anyone that does not care for loud, vile music and the feel of the bass rattling your bones or you have no issue with staying out of your expensive suite in the afternoon, or you love that music, loud and would put on your swimsuit and would join the pool group.

Room tip: The pool area plays loud, loud music

This place is old, tired, dark and dirty! Talking about the rooms not the casino or restaurants which aren't bad. $350+ for a balcony queen suite is obscene. So dark and small feeling- plugs and lights are about 1/2 nonfunctional. Furniture is old, stinky and funky feeling. Floor plan shows a desk which I needed- turned out to be a 12" hall type table up against the wall with no desk chair only upholstered piece with a television above it. Not exactly functioning work area. Spent my work time sitting on the floor using coffee table. Still hurts! Balcony not usable this time of year- but the view was nice. This place is supposed to be mysterious and sexy but honestly is trashier and sleazier than anything else. Spa is way expensive with an automatic 20% gratuity added onto everything- but feel free to give more??? Best part of everything is the whole place smells like pot- rooms, hallways, balconies and elevators. Guess it's better than cigarette smoke. 4 nights was too long and expensive and not that enjoyable. Crossing this one off my list.

Great hotel. Easy to navigate which is key for late Vegas nights. Room service and mini bar are expensive. $90 for a salad and orange juice. Can’t beat the location and access. Elevators are right inside the doors so you don’t have to walk through casino each time.

Room tip: Have a great time.

We had a great stay at the Cosmopolitan during the 1st week of June. We came to see a show at the Sphere. While everything wasn't perfect, I think the property is excellent.

Positives:

# Check in was fast and easy. We arrived at 2 PM, a room was ready and they allowed us to check in early without any additional change.

# We had a king bed room. It was spacious and well furnished. We had housekeeping service each day and plenty of space in the bathroom. The beddings were nice, but he mattress was in poor shape. Fast and easy internet on all devices. Room had a fridge. The temperature control worked well, and we never had to wait more that 3 min for an elevator. Felt safe at all times. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and easy to store our luggage with Bellhop on day of our departure.

# Amazing dining options. We ate at Momofuko, which was fabulous, and had a breakfast at District 16. There seem to be so many other great restaurant options. Also, easy to get coffee in the mornings in the lobby. Only had to wait a few minutes.

# Location: Central location in the strip is great. We love getting Crepe's at Paris, which is across the street. We had dinner at Julian Serano Tapas, which is next door at Aria, and Bellagio is next door. Easy to get cheaper tables at Planet Hollywood across the street if desired.

# Pool: The weather was incredibly hot, and we spent our mornings at the pool. It was great! Water was perfect temperature, adequate seating, and nice drink service.

# Value: I think there is value here. It is not as expensive as the Wynn or Venetian, yet the rooms are much nicer than what you would get at Paris or Bellagio, and the pool scene is a good one. Yes, there is a $50 resort fee, but we made use of the pool each day, so it didn't seem as bad.

Negatives: Not many at all.

# The pool area needs Umbrellas. Much too hot, and no shade after 10:30 AM
# No coffee in the rooms, but this might be a Vegas thing.
# Lousy mattress (as previously mentioned).

Room tip: The pool is best in the morning. There is no shade after 10:30 AM.
