I enjoyed my stay at The Luxor. Spent 3 nights. First night was in the tower and next two in pyramid - which is a novel experience. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Pool was a nice break with it being 111 degrees. There’s a tram connected to the hotel, so easy to get to Excalibur or Mandalay.

Cleanliness of the room has certainly gone down over the years but the location is perfect, close to everything you need while visiting/vacationing in Las Vegas.

When we arrived we noticed our bathroom wasn't clean, sink wasn't draining properly, tv our of order and lamp not turning. We had to wait the next day to receive a different room but waited 25 minutes for a elevator to the lobby to do so. This was ridiculous and time wasting. Never again. This also made us late for our event.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. If that is all you are looking for, and can ignore the run-down vibe, the broken elevators, the really, really hot gym, the crazy long check-in times, then this is the spot for you. Just be sure to download the app and check in remotely. You still end up in the Priority Line, which is shorter than the normal line...but it's the difference between an 90 minute wait and a 20 minute wait.

The Luxor is a reliable location for your Las Vegas shelter needs. The rooms do not feature any grand features or amenities (sorry, no room service or even a mini fridge) but they are comfortable and have reliable air conditioning. You know how important this is if you've suffered through the summer heat in Vegas. The staff at the Luxor will mostly avoid interacting with you if they can avoid it. If you are looking for a resort where you will be wowed by the service and swanky features in the rooms, look elsewhere. However, if you need a bare-bones, essentials-only place to stay, this is a good choice!

Pool is great for families. Play Playground great for kids. Tons to do. Good location to Mandalay Place mall area. WiFi was not great for Zoom/Video calls. Last day had the room key turned off before check out time, but fixed after going to registration
