Owner description: Founded in 1996, the Neon Museum is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization dedicated to collecting, preserving, studying and exhibiting iconic Las Vegas signs for educational, historic, arts and cultural enrichment. You may view the collection through either an hour-long guided tour, a self-guided tour or on a limited-access basis. Tours are available seven days a week and tour times vary based on the season. Dedicated individuals from the private sector, as well as corporate and government entities, worked collaboratively to promote the preservation of these national treasures as significant pieces of artistic and historical importance. Each sign in the Neon Museum’s collection chronicles changes and trends in sign design and technology through pieces ranging from the 1930s to the present day. Public education, outreach, research, archival preservation and a grant-funded neon sign survey represent a selection of the museum’s ongoing projects.

We did the night tour because we wanted to see the signs lit up. Our tour guide was fantastic and the history she recounted during the tour was fascinating. Highly recommended!

The service we experienced at the Neon museum was brilliant. We had arrived late for our allocated tour time, but it wasn’t a problem at all and we were lucky to be able to transfer onto the next available tour.

Our guide was very knowledgable and it was really interesting hearing the stories behind the signs, and we actually learned quite a bit about Vegas.

It was insanely hot when we visited, so I would say be sure to put lots of sun cream on, but one added bonus was that the museum provides umbrellas for shade.

100% recommend.

This place is amazing and I laud the folks who are determined to keep this part of Vega history alive and available to the public. The artistry of the old neon signs is amazing. Include this with your trip to Fremont Street at its not too far away. I went during the day but I think they also have evening tours.

We are SO glad we finally got the time on this trip to visit the Neon Museum! What an incredible place filled with such wonderful history of Vegas! The signs, restored or not, working or not, were just larger than life! And the ones that were restored and lit up (I highly suggest visiting at night time!), WOW!!! For anyone that likes Vegas, all the lights of the strip, the history....this is a MUST do!!

My husband and I took a night tour of the boneyard and saw the Brilliant show! We had a great time seeing the old signs and learning their history. The Brilliant show was fantastic - highly recommend! I am glad we took the night tour to get the full effect of the lights but I’m sure the colors are beautiful during the day. We had a great tour guide but can’t remember his name - possibly Drew.
