We had the absolute pleasure of hosting our small, intimate wedding ceremony and canapés at this stunning estate, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Suzanne was incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout the planning process, ensuring we had everything we needed for the day. With the weather being a bit unpredictable, we appreciated having the beautiful garden as our first choice and the chapel as a Plan B.
On the day, we ended up using The Hayes Room for the canapés, as the weather wasn’t the greatest. However, the setting was still just as stunning, and we couldn’t have been more thankful for the flexibility. We also had the chance to rehearse the day before, which made everything feel so much more relaxed and prepared.
One of the most unforgettable experiences was being able to set off from the venue’s helicopter pad—it was truly something special and added such a unique touch to our day. We will forever cherish the memories made here!

My partner and I hosted our wedding at Stoneridge Estate. I genuinely cannot recommend this venue for weddings enough. The venue was amazing. It was also so easy to organise an overseas wedding using the Stoneridge team. Could not recommend more.

Let me start by saying I booked this hotel based on the 5 star rating and the reviews. The hotel is beautiful, our room was stunning with a gorgeous view of lake Hayes which was wonderful to walk around. The wine and cheese of an afternoon is a lovely thoughtful touch and the onsite hot pool also very welcome. There is no gym for those staying in a lodge room. The venue has a function area and the staff are sadly more focused on that than the guests we felt. For breakfast, you have to say what time you will be down removing any holiday spontaneity. One morning we said 8am and came down at 7.45 (breakfast served from 7.30) and nothing was out and no staff to be found. I booked the private dinner for my husband and I only to be told by the waitress that she was sorry service was really slow but she was managing a function!!!! Parking is a bit of a challenge, there are no designated car parking spaces and it’s daunting to manoeuvre around the small car park. The staff are pleasant and helpful when you get their attention. My husband tried calling reception twice for details on how to check out and no answer or call back. This place has the potential to be incredible with improved service and perhaps a Nespresso machine in the room.

We had the most amazing stay here. We stayed in the Milford Retreat. Absolutely worth the money. From the moment we arrived we felt like we staying at a castle. All of the buildings were STUNNING. It was such a cozy vibe. We had access to everywhere and the staff were exceptional.
Huge shoutout to the chef Jono! We had the private degustation trust the chef on our stay. He prepared all of the food and served us aswell. Just a very talented and kind man who was so friendly and helpful for the entire stay. The whole experience was amazing in a candle lit room with a beautiful fireplace. My now fiancé proposed to me and the private dining was the perfect way to celebrate.
The winery here is also great. Definitely worth a try and a stay :)

Stoneridge Estate is absolutely worth staying at. We found the staff to be excellent and attentive. The property itself is gorgeous and charming and our accommodation was amazing, the views were truly spectacular, really, there is nothing bad to say. We can't wait to return one day!!! Our daily breakfast was included and there were many options to choose from. Both the Chef and his assistant were awesome to deal with, just overall lovely people who care about their guests. I recommend this beautiful place to everyone!
