Sage Lodge is a Beautiful Place. I enjoyed myself. I would definitely recommend this property to others. The food was very good, and the staff are very nice and accommodating. The nature walk or hike was wonderful and informative and relaxing.

Caroldavis2023,

It is so great to hear about your wonderful experience at Sage Lodge. The staff prides themselves on the appearance of the lodge as well as the service we provide for our guests. We are gearing up to launch our winter menus for the restaurants, we would love to welcome you back for some holiday fun. We have six miles of trail system on property as well as our beautiful river preserve hike for you to enjoy. Look forward to when you can make it out here again.

The property is lovely. The staff friendly. Lots of activities included in the stay and much to do outside what is included. It has a wonderful view with deer and cattle. Meals and drinks were good. We enjoyed the Fireside Room more so than the more expensive Grill. We would definitely go back!

We stayed three nights and could have done three more nights! Other than for horseback riding nearby, you don’t need to leave the property. It is truly serene! From the moment you arrive, the staff is attentive and friendly. The rooms are very well appointed (super nice surprise to see a stocked fridge). We took advantage of many of the amenities — bike ride through the trails, hot tub, fire pits, mixology class, scrabble, spa services, and just sitting and reading and making new friends! Truly a great place to relax and unwind! The food is fantastic too — all very fresh and well-prepared. Be sure to try the lemon huckleberry pancakes! When we left, it was an easy drive to Yellowstone and on to Jackson Hole.

The rooms were overpriced, the menu and wine ridiculously priced for limited mediocre food and extremely cheap pours on cocktails, the furniture in the lobby was torn, the packed lunches had nothing but a sandwich--no chips, no fruit, no dessert, NO NAPKIN!kk

BarbaraDali,

Thank you for providing this feedback, as we can only improve and evolve through knowing where we fell short. Please know this is not an accurate representation of our service and experience here at Sage Lodge, as we strive to provide the best possible experience for all our guests. We are completely committed to providing exceptional quality and it’s very disappointing to fall so far below the standards to which we hold ourselves. I have emailed you separately so I may address your concerns personally. We do hope to regain your trust in the future and thank you for sharing your comments.

The Sage's location/surroundings, the quality of the lodge, staff and amenities make this the perfect place to hold a wedding. We couldn't have been happier with how everything went. Thank you Sage Lodge staff for making this a momentous event.
