First time in Livingston and we found this cafe off of tripadvisor and it did not disappoint! Very eclectic atmosphere inside I think an old school building! You picked 1 word ...yes just 1 word, from the breakfast menu and let the chef (who was cooking in the room with you) decide what she would make for you! It was delicious! Be aware though, that they only serve 40 people, so get there early bc after 40 people, they close!

We couldn’t decide so we picked 9 words for three dishes. My girlfriend said some words never spoken aloud in all of history; ‘I never knew I wanted waffles and Mac and cheese in my quesadilla until now!” Emily our host, server and spiritual food advisor really kept the good positive vibes. Come in with an open mind and positive attitude and you’ll leave enlightened with your belly enfullened.

We stopped at Faye’s Cafe in our way through Livingston. The experience was amazing and very different (in a great way) from you routine chains. The atmosphere was great. The food was amazing!!!!! This is definitely a must stop!

Faye's food for Breakfast and Lunch is always freshly prepared, and delicious. The atmosphere is homey, and it is favorite spot for locals in an old school building. Upstairs from Faye's is a really good little bookstore, and it is a great place to combine breakfast or lunch and a meander through Conley's bookstore.

Skip everything and go to Faye’s Cafe. Sarah Faye combines creativity, culinary skill and love into a place that welcomes you like a big hug and then proceeds to make you feel like you never left... and never want to.

What came back was simply the best eggs Benedict creation I’ve ever had with a side of Faye’s Huckleberry bacon. Perfectly poached eggs, savory sauce, and a lightly toasted bread under the eggs which soaked up the sauce and was sublime.
