We liked this place a lot. Location is excellent, and the staff was very helpful. The rooms were well lit and clean. The breakfast offerings left a little to be desired, and should be upgraded. The hotel is attached to a very good Italian restaurant, and I recommend reservations for that place as it can get crowded.

We stayed here for the Thanksgiving holiday and it was impressive! Staff was attentive but not overbearing, food was great and the breakfast folks were super friendly and talkative. The rooms were clean, updated, and well appointed.

I normally stay in Hampton Inns but some others in my company recommended the DoubleTree downtown. Best recommendation anyone's ever given. Literally walk out the back of the hotel to Helena's walking mall with shopping, food and entertainment.
The hotel was very clean, staff was outstanding. Beds are comfortable. Lots of parking.
One of the best things was the really quiet heating.

Preston at check in was great! Very informative and had great suggestions for area restaurants and things to do. The warm cookie and greeting was a very nice touch. Room was clean and Breakfast fresh and full with lots of options. Chris was very nice and attentive as our breakfast host. Good Job!

Room was clean and nice. Pool and hot tub are closed this entire month. Restaurant is pricey and limited menu. No continental breakfast. Overall, stay was good. A little more than we usually pay for a hotel, especially when breakfast isn’t included.
