Couple in our 30s from Australia. Stopped here for 1 night on the way up to Glacier National Park. This hotel was the most reasonably priced in Helena with okay reviews. Arrived & front staff were lovely. I booked online & always request a non smoking room. Got to our room (after walking down a very old, carpet stained hallway) to be hit with a room that had definitely had a smoker in it. The rooms are carpet & the smell was so strong. Other than the smell, the room was very clean but old. Stained roof in the bathroom. If you're staying for a night & just need a quick sleep, I'd recommend for the price as everything else in town is double. But if you can find somewhere else, pick that.

Property and rooms in somewhat disrepair and filthy. Flooring and furniture are stained (a lot) and the towels were also stained. The staff were super friendly though and I had good service. Just think owners are skimping on the maintenance and repairs necessary.

Don't choose this hotel. It is definitely not worth the money! Room smelled badly of cigarette smoke, hall carpets are stained everywhere, and benches in hallways are being used to clean workers shoes! While this is the only hotel I've stayed at in Helena, my recommendation would be to find any other hotel if you're passing though . . . it has to be better than this one!
