I read other reviews, and it sounded OK. I knew that it was old, but as long as it is clean I am OK. It was not clean! Attached are some pics. There was a yucky blood like stain in the carpet next to the bed. And the grout in the bathroom was all dirty and moldy. This is not up to the Marriott standard at all! I am a Marriott Gold member, and they put me in this room! Not cool! Also, I requested an upgrade upon check in, which my membership covers, if there are upgraded rooms available. She said there was none available. But then there were hardly any cars at all in the parking lot, and still the same in the morning. We never saw another soul in the two days we were there. Except the last morning there were two other people at breakfast. So I cannot believe that there were not upgraded rooms available. And for them to put me, a Gold member, in this dirty horrible room was unimaginable.

Looks like the hotel is being updated. Entrance and lobby very appealing and clean. Rooms were updated and clean. Our room smelled like it must have been a smoking room at one time. Although breakfast is available, the buffet cost $16.95. Had I read closer when we booked that it wasn’t included I would have stayed elsewhere. Fitness area well stocked and clean. Staff very friendly. Helena was a last minute change due to Yellowstone closure and doesn’t quite compare
