30 minute free organ recital Thursdays at 1 pm. Could feel the vibration from the pipes in the pews. Beautiful windows.The church is on a treed residential hill overlooking the downtown area. The view from the front doors is great. Walk around the building to the side away from the parking lot to avoid stairs. There is an elevator on the parking lot side of the building.
Beautiful inside and out. FYI, when we went, there were no bathrooms open to the public. Love the stained glass. They have a separate parking lot for visitors across the street.
When we arrived, someone was playing the organ with many of the church doors open. We ventured in to look around. The stained glass windows were impressive. Nice stop before leaving town.
Amazing cathedral. Went in just before it closed. Very quiet and peaceful. Stain glass was lovely. Impressive.
So very beautiful! I almost felt like I wasn't worthy enough to be in this place. It's just so awe inspiring and gorgeous.
