We had two nights at this hotel during our recent trip to see Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. We were traveling during COVID times but hotel rates started to increase in July so we paid higher rates for this Yellowstone Gateway location than we would have elsewhere I'm sure.

The rooms had been updated, possibly during the lockdown months when there was zero to very little travel going on. The hallways and doors leading to the rooms, however, were pretty dark, musty and depressing.

We had to get our little coffee maker and coffee from the front desk when we checked in. This was pretty much the norm due to COVID and was not a big deal. We were able to get our room changed to the first floor as there is no elevator and we had suitcase, cooler, and some bags to bring in. The first floor ended up having four steps you had to go down to get to them so it wasn't stair free.

We only spent time in the room to sleep, pack food for our full days in the park and to clean up. It worked just fine for us.

If we return to the area, I would probably look for a different hotel but this one met our needs for this trip.
