it is a zero-service hotel which is ok if you know that ahead of time. Make sure the owners know when you are coming so they can leave a key for you. You will be on your own and there are combo locks for the outside doors to get in. Your specific 'suite' has a key of course. The rooms are large and comfortable. In exchange for being on your own you have a decent kitchen and living room to make use of- limited cups, but enough plates. (remember to bring coffee.sugar, cream) There are also 2 or 3 small kitchenettes scattered around the facility.
(Later we discovered that up the street is an amazing bakery/coffee shop (behind the saloon) and excellent upscale BBQ, i had portabella/pimiento/coleslaw, sirrachi sauce burger--amazing and i am not a vegetarian, the menu is too amazing for me to give it credit here, but don't miss it! we found it our last day but would have eaten all our meals there if we knew sooner!) Back to the 7point-ranch review.... our mini fridge had stuff in it from prior people - that was wierd and it filled our trash can. then of course the trash isn't removed during your stay so we had that 'mess' to deal with. No one is perfect and since the owners aren't around there isn't anyone to 'tell' to take care of it.
here is the issue and the owners are working on fixing this for 2025 they said with a new outhouse for the camp sites along the river behind the property; the campers are given access to the bathrooms on the 1st floor of the ranch. there are at least 3 or 4 bathrooms for general use. they were all broken/overflowed. being nice we unclogged them 3 times, not sure if campers are hard on toilets or what. we also found ourselves helping campers knocking at the door when they 'forgot the code', this was a strange situation to put us in, I hated turning away moms with little kids who needed to use a toilet.
This is Montanna, people are laid back, go with the flow and enjoy yourself. We did. The large kitchen as our gathering point each morning and night made up for other things. oh ps no wifi there even though it says there is.
