My partner and I walked to downtown Bozeman around 11:15 am to go out for Sunday breakfast planning to catch a bus in about 90 minutes. We had discovered the night before that the CO-OP had a cafeteria style restaurant. We kept this in mind as a fall back should the popular places have long wait times which in fact they did; 20+ minutes for a table and probably the same just to get our food, so we went to the CO-OP.
The CO-OP had hot food presented cafeteria style including vegan breakfast burritos. There was also an extensive salad bar. Some items were pre-priced (such as the burritos and scones) while the remainder were sold by weight. The line moved quickly so you could assemble your breakfast in just a few minutes which you then paid for at the regular check out in the store with cash or plastic.
The eating area had many tables and was well lit due to the large windows all along. Utensils, napkins, water, and condiments were all conveniently available. There was also a microwave for re-warming your food.
We found the food wholesome & reasonably priced, and we enjoyed the fact that we could sit down and spend our time eating our breakfast rather than waiting for it. I should add that the place did get busy as time passed by noon. On the negative side, the food could have been warmer but the microwave helped to overcome this deficiency.
