We spent a night here driving towards Milford sound. NZ34 for the night. Facilities were super well maintained. Nice hot showers and a fairly well equipped kitchen. The powered sites were also very spacious and you could easily set up some chairs and tables and watch the night sky. It was absolutely magical. Oh! The owners also give you some animal feed so you could feed the farm animals that were around. Really great value if you plan to stay a night here.
This is one of, if not the best campsite we have stayed. Prior to writing this review i read some of the others, the showers are clean, spacious and hot, kitchen is massive, clean and spacious. Lovely outdoor eating space, this gives you everything you needed and was very good value for money. The space is beautiful, animals are all very friendly. The owner spent time speaking with us and other guests which was nice. This is a place not to miss. The best campsite we have stayed and have travelled from North Island down through the South. Thanks for such a lovely stay, and if we are ever back in New Zealand, then we will make this a must stop 👍
A colleague/ friend and I stayed in a two bedroom cabin here and have stayed in single cabins here before. I work in Tourism and have traveled around NZ a heap and this place is right up there. Great value for money, great amenities plus a good all around 'feel' to the place. There were plenty of camper vans parked up in the spacious camp grounds however it did not feel at all busy. There are plenty of free hot showers which is becoming less common - a good shower makes a big difference and these had good pressure, temperature and were clean and tidy. We will definitely stay here again when traveling around this beautiful part of the country! Many thanks.
A friend and I are travelling NZ for 13 days. 9 Days into our trip and this overnight stay at Mossburn Country park has been by far the best! Reasonably priced, we were able to stay in one of the cabins. The beds were really comfortable and all the amenities were well maintained and clean. The decor of the park was very comfortable - minimalist country style which was very charming and relaxing. The hospitality was very welcoming and friendly. And let's not forget about the animals! They were very cute and topped off our experience and stay at the park. We highly recommend staying here. We wish had more time to unwind here and will definitely stay here if were back in the area.
Best place we stayed at in the South Island so far. Beautiful area with lovely animals which we got to feed and pat with our complimentary pack of grains Great ammenities too! Definitely recommend. Definitely will come back.
