Highly recommended such a beautiful place amazing staff so friendly. They have such a lovely BAR with an amazing bar Tander. They've got shuttles every Hour to the town and back to the hotel. Guest relations are so helpful. Rooms are so nice with for sure amazing sea views.

From the concierge (Thanos Chronis), to the entire staff, everyone was wonderful. My wife and I went on our honeymoon, and this property was perfect. The resort and its staff was responsive to every request, made many accommodations and arrangements for us, and were genuinely nice the entire time. Plenty to do on-site (and off-site), and Thanos Chronis can recommend (and did) terrific options for any desire or interest. You will not be disappointed. We hope to make it back.

Enjoyed every minute of our stay, beautiful resort, very welcoming and kind staff (special thanks to Rula and Alexandra) excellent super clean rooms (they clean and change towels twice a day), beautiful view of the sea, delicious generous breakfast, we dined there once and it satisfactory, excellent location, Elia beach is very nice quiet and clean, I enjoyed a massage on the beach (Chinese lady), shuttle service to and from the beach, and to town, would definitely love to visit once more. Mykonos is a paradise

We booked the Royal this year for a 50th birthday get together for a small group of friends, as we had a brilliant week here in 2015. We were treated like old family friends on our return, with nothing too much trouble for the staff and management. They had arranged for most of our group to be in the same location, and offered us alternative rooms if mobility was an issue for some. No one could fail to be impressed by their rooms, bathrooms and general facilities. The manager Panos was superb , with Alexandra, Anna and the rest of the reception staff. Stephanos and Diana in the beautiful outside main bar were fabulous with their wit and friendliness. The site is very steep with a lot of steps to some rooms but very well maintained. We were given a stunning room , 223,with a private terrace, outside hot tub, loungers and table and chairs. This room is located at the rear of the pool deck, no noise interference, and has an uninterrupted view of Elia beach below. The decor is bright, Mediterranean and has stood up well. We have seen some of the newly refurbished rooms which are stunning in a minimalist style , all white curvaceous and modern hewn-from-the-rock feel.
The hotel is situated over several floors, tumbling down the hillside. The lower rooms are below the pool level but require many steps as the elevators only go to -2, the spa and pool deck level. They do go up to level 5 in the main complex, with a short walk to another elevator to reach levels further up, including the Utopia Hotel at the top of the site. The hotel operate a shuttle service down to Elia beach on the edge of the complex, a short five minute hike down the steep driveway, a relentless climb up if you feel fit! The beach is stunning and the reason we return to Elia most years. The loungers, umbrellas and a bar and snack menu are available all day to Myconian collection guests on their private section of the beach, with the other parts of the beach charging up to €35 a day rental just for loungers and an umbrella.....! There was always a selection of loungers available and it never felt crowded.
The shuttle service to town is operated on the groups own fleet of air conditioned full size coaches, with a regular schedule to town and the airport. The shuttle times are fewer early in the day to virtually hourly in the evening. The last one leaves town for the hotel at 01.00 hours in the morning after guests have enjoyed dinner and drinks in town. All coaches must use the port bus station in town, which necessitates a minimum of a 1/4 mile walk from the edge of Remezzo on the towns harbour side. Beware the uneven pavements and steps! One of our party required four stitches to their eye socket....! The hotel were brilliant when this happened at midnight! They drove our friend to the trauma unit, waited with her and interpreted if that was needed and sorted any paperwork there and then! During our week there were two weddings at the hotel and at no time were we inconvenienced by these goings on.....noise levels were respected and the amazing Brazilian/Greek wedding was an added bonus to behold!
If there are any advisories, take extra care heading to the pool. The Spa level is dark and cave like at all times, very dimly lit so take a moment to adjust your eyes after the sunlight, and remove your sunglasses before going inside!
The staff recently chose to not wear name badges but are instantly recognisable in their various uniforms. I thought this might make it a little less professional but as our week evolved it actually occurred to me that the feeling was comfortable courteous luxury, and had the added bonus of keeping confrontations muted if issues arose with guests, as they interacted with the staff, instead of picking on a staff or manager if they sported a title or rank!
We ate breakfast every day in the main restaurant, always great, and we did eat one night there also. The food was great and as a party of 11 our bill was comparable to any where we ate in town.
We will be back to the only island we return to annually. If you want town life Mykonian style 24/7 this is not the place....if you want a great location, fantastic staff and a relaxing time......you've found heaven on earth!

Room Tip: Floors above the lobby are easier to get to, not seen a bad room anywhere!

My first time in Mykonos and travel agent suggested this resort. It was approx a 20min bus ride (which they picked us up at airport) from airport and town. Upon arrival I was amazed at the views, decor and overall setting of the resort. We were greeted and welcomed upon arrival. Fully explained in detail everything about the resort and amenities on the property and one of the desk staff walked us around the resort and right to our room. We stayed on the 5th floor which had just been remodeled which had a modern, white, clean decor and feel. The best part was our balcony with ocean views and waking up to this every morning was simply breathtaking. The pool area was beautiful during the day and especially at night with all the LED lights. There are a few restaurants to dine in, one right by the pool and you can also visit the other two Myconian properties above/below as well if you choose. Every single member of the staff that I encountered from the bus driver, bell boy, reception, housekeeping, waitstaff was very friendly and attentive I couldn't have asked for better hospitality. Exceptional service came from the outside bar staff where we found ourselves spending many nights enjoying a variety of cocktails that were some of the best I have ever had. We really enjoyed our time here at the bar having again exceptional service, great drinks and moreover friendly conversation from workers who genuinely cared about their patrons. My only negative if I can even say so was the food menu. Although the food was excellent, the menu options change based on time of day and not that options were limited, for me I would've preferred a larger menu at times having eaten at the resort for several meals. But don't let that deter you as again the food was excellent and you can always head to one of the other restaurants at the other properties above/below, we just didn't take advantage of that. Another perk was a shuttle bus to bring to/from the beach below (big hill) and a large bus that runs every hour or so (they provide a schedule) to bring you to/from town which is a must explore. The beach was simply amazing and has a private section for the resort with staff and bar. This is a great place for anyone from friends, to family to couples who simply want to get away and relax but also have a great time if that is your speed. I would recommend this resort to anyone and hope I can visit again one day. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Room Tip: Ocean view with private balcony if can, so worth it!
