We came up to Traverse City for a wine event at CGT, which included staying at the Inn. We decided to stay two extra nights beforehand, as well, as it was my birthday that week, so it made sense.

There are only 8 rooms, which makes it very nice and cozy, without too much hussle and bussle of a typical large hotel. There are two large living rooms - the downstairs room having a large TV and a bunch of couches - plenty of room to hang out and socialize, if that's your thing. The rooms itself had plenty of space, nice views of the winery, and were nicely appointed - and the free bottle of wine every night certainly doesn't hurt, either!

The breakfast selection is quite extensive, with lots of options from homemade breakfast sandwiches, to waffles, cereal, etc. All the food is great, and adds to the experience.

We'll be staying up here again soon for another wine event, and we cannot wait! Something we plan on making a yearly trip we do to break up the winter!

Room Tip: All rooms have excellent views of the property - any would be a great choice.

Best all around wine selections...fantastic staff...always a great memory...the Inn is very well kept, fun to run into the owner and hear some great stories...nice to make new friends.. we are regulars, making the trip and stay 3-4 times a year, great wineries in the area.... bring a large wine budget!

Room Tip: Book well in advance.... the Inn fills quickly!

Cutest little getaway! Cheateau Grand Traverse welcomed us to the most beautiful stay. My husband and I just got married a few weeks ago and our honeymoon is not booked until August so we needed a little mini getaway. First off this Inn is so beautiful with amazing views. Also, super clean and has great included breakfast as well. You do get your tasting included at the winery which is always the best service and they also include a bottle of wine of your choice in your room each day! We really had the best time and cannot wait to return!

Stayed for one night at the inn. Beautiful room with stunning views of the vineyard and bay. We loved that the balcony had chairs where we could sit and sip our wine. Love that it was an adults only environment and that it had common areas to enjoy.

I cannot express enough how much we enjoyed our visit here. The inn is amazing! Is huge and includes a gym and sauna! The breakfast is top notch. Best complimentary breakfast we have had. The place is super clean. I felt comfortable wearing my slippers around. If you go please meet Sitka! He is definitely worth the trip. When staying you also get 5 free tastings a day, and also 20% off a case of wine. You will not be disappointed staying here
