Very clean. Quiet street off the highway but very close, within walking distance, to all attractions. The rooms were decorated in a lodge/cottage atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Helpful in finding beaches and things to do.

The terrace is not luxury and there isn't anything fancy, but for $50-$70 a night you cannot find anything better anywhere. The rooms are clean and in good order. There are no funky smells which are associated with cheap motels. Larry is extremely friendly and helpful. There is a common room with a pool table, small sauna, sofa and tv. There is a fire pit with wood provided so you can still have the camping experience. Also, there is a grill and a full functioning kitchen available in the common room. I'll def be back and recommend to anyone.

Larry, the owner, is very friendly and loves his job! He puts his guests at ease, joking and telling stories to make all feel welcomed! Nice place, well-maintained, clean, and 1/2 mile from downtown. It was a perfect walk after being in the car all day! There's a shared kitchen if you want to cook, and a game room and sauna, all open 24 hours. On a quiet street.

For the price you can't beat it. Older motel but very clean and nicely furnished. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. In a residential area, so very quiet at night. But still close to downtown. Yeah wifi went in and out, but I don't go to the UP to stay connected. Towels were nice and soft too. Bring your own shampoo.

We stayed here for $55. The motel is older but clean. The manager was extremely helpful and professional. He gave us a great deal of info. about the area. There was no ac in the room, but thankfully we didn't need it.
