Nice boardwalk down the waterway. Near Boatwerks restaurant. Walk to the other end and watch the boats launching. Lots of green space. Playground for kids is large and nice. Lots of picnic tables under the shelter. There's a music stage and often there are community activities happening here.

Kollen's Park is a small park on the shore of Lake Macatawa in Holland, Michigan. There is playground equipment and picnic tables available. Ample parking (most of the time) is available for visitors. One of the neat additions to the area in recent years is the walkway built along the shore of Lake Macatawa. Some of the lumber was donated by the Heinz Pickle Plant from the brine barrels they used to have on their property. Pick a pleasant day and take a stroll down the boardwalk to enjoy lake views and some of the beautiful shoreline scenery.

Kollen Park is located on the southwest side of Lake Macatawa. There is plenty of room to roam around, run, or do many other outdoor park activities. There is a nice playground area for kids to play on. There are restrooms, a band shell area and wonderful views of the lake. It was relaxing and peaceful when I visited.

Kollen Park is situated on the lake. It is a tranquil, waterfront park featuring a band shelter, playground, boat launch ramps & picnic areas. Many people fish over the railing. There is plenty of room for frisbees and kite flying. It is dog-friendly but please pick up your poop! If you just want to sit and watch the lake and all the activity around you, there are benches along the walkways. The yacht club is at the end of the park so you can watch all sorts of boats come and go. Very enjoyable but be prepared for a lot of people.

This is a very pretty park. It also has a very nice kids play area and public restrooms as well. It has an outdoor theater which often holds public activities and grills as well as plenty of picnic tables on both sides of the theater. There is also parking on both sides of the theater. It is connected to a really nice scenic boardwalk that stretches along Lake Macatawa, which by the way allows you to fish along it. It is a very popular park for the locals and holds several events during the summer including a really nice 4th of July Fireworks party. We go to this park quite often for picnicking and a walk along the boardwalk and we attend the fireworks every 4th of July. You do not need to call for reservations unless you wish to use their pavilion. It is an open park. One thing else, Lake Macatawa flows into Lake Michigan at Kollen616-355-1130 Park. The lake is actually a pooling area where Macatawa River ends up and because the river flows so fast it pools there forming Lake Macatawa where the mouth of the river is and ends up in Lake Michigan eventually.
